I still could never believe anyone who says S3's Spiker is based on a plant or animal. That paticular one is based on a recurring trap.

And let me guess: You're probably going to tell me Spiny is based on some sort of bottom-dweller like a sea star.

And there's still Toximister. It's a frieckin' pole that puts out a cloud that drains your rings!

I think that thing, whatever it is, looks more like a badnik from Chaotix. Is that really the art style that's going to be used?

 

What about all the grounder-type enemies? What in the world are they really?

 

I always thought they were some kind of mole, or maybe some other similar animal that digs through the ground.

 

Yeah, those kinda look like moles. Isn't the original Burrobot called mogurin, or something similar? (mogura meaning mole)

 

AHA! See? They don't ALL have to be based on animals or plants.

There's some enemy in Sonic 3D's Green Grove Zone that...... Well, it looks like a purple swirl with 4 legs and spike ball. And then the enemy from Diamond Dust Zone that was nothing more than a Snowman.

 

Okay... Animals, plants and traps.

Sonic 3D is not the main series.

 

That's what? Only Only one badnik that's not based on an animal in the main series (not counting Sonic CD, Spinball, 3D Blast, or Chaotix)?

 

I already mentioned Bloominator and Sol.

A color scheme like this goes much better on my eyes. And it also seems to be smoother.
