ZOMG hack has started! screens inside.

Here is a tip:

Make your levels from scratch, rather than editing existing levels.

 

And try not to make levels so...Square?, add some slopes, slopes are good

 

Slopes can be difficult to make. I know its an area I'm having trouble with. They never come out right.

 

They are actually pretty easy.

 

Especially if you use the solidity blocks as a guideline when making them. You can't really go wrong, unless you have a really complex foreground pattern.

 

Well slopes aren't too bad, just get little problems like making one slope messing up another. What I suck at are curves, they always come out looking all jagged.
Also with couple slopes, Sonic runs right through them, no matter what I do to the solidity of the blocks.

 

I'm glad my hack has inspired such great artwork, Keep up the good work.

 

Im liking the crystal egg art there, very nice I always liked that level.

your art is looking good, something I must get into and learn.

the good thing is my A2 computig course next year does actually dive into ASM so, I guess I'll learn a bit from that.
