I think three works pretty well, given yeth's crazy smile and all. I'd like to see a gif of how you plan to rotate them or whatever... maybe make them open and close their mouths instead of spin?
Gotta go with 3 on this one, fits Yeth perfectly since he has a big mouth anyways, plus it's funny. :v: Also, it'd be cool to see a Halloween build release, but I dunno if it's ready for that, is it Banoon?

I know the :v: isn't Retro exclusive, but it is an internet meme regardless. How would you guys feel if Spongebob did a shoop da woop, or if Ren & Stimpy said EPIC WIN every so often? Yeth is it's own thing, lets pleeeeease keep it that way. [/pleading]

I think number 3 looks amusing, regardless of the in-joke context, anyway. :v: Also, would it be at all possible to use all 3 and just randomise which sprite is used on a per-ring basis?

Until I figure out some way to make all three options available, yeah Maybe release three different versions <_<
Option 2 is the best option. Let the haters hate. This is great, I'm having a ton of fun playing this. It's excellent work. By the way, if you need some sprite work done, or music composed, I could lend you a hand.
Aw, thonks. The spritework is kinda personal to me, though I still don't really know what to do for the music (my original plan was to get SonMP3 and use music from contemporary or obscure games instead of the same Megaman ports over and over), but actually some kinda original soundtrack might be kinda cool
QUOTE

Also, would it be at all possible to use all 3 and just randomise which sprite is used on a per-ring basis?
Probably but I'm kinda trying to stray away from ASM edits
A third release with some minor changes has been released (but don't get your hopes up), and a silly manual. If all goes well I will probably use this version for the hacking contest

Gonna play this up when I get off of work.
eh, if you've already played it several times before then there's really no point, it's just some touchups for the contest =P
this game makes my face go "wat" I was getting ready to rage so hard when the drown counter started as the game was tallying my score. fffff
