X-Warp in sonic 2

    If you place something solid in debug near the top of the screen, put sonic on it, jump of the top of the screen and hit the debug button you will go to the bottom of the screen. Feel free to complain.

    This means that the lift in HPZ would work without any extra code if they fixed the water problem. Sonic could also jump of the top of the screen and get "secret items".

    Honestly, the major application of this fact that I've seen is that if you put solid tiles at the top of the level, it can prevent Sonic from reaching a bottomless pit.
