Would it be possible to hack sonED 2...

    Working on a vulkan game engine for fun. Learning Ray-Tracing.
    so the when it splits the rom. It would also uncompress the compressed art, and recompress the art when you put the rom back together.

    If you're willing to waste the time learning x86 ASM go ahead, then yes. Maybe.

    I was hopeing that someone who knows how to do that could do it, but I'm guessing that we'd need the stealth's sorce code for that. It probably would be easier just ask him, but he's never here.

    .. doesn't it split the ROM seperately, outside of the program? If it does, all you need is a command-line (or invisible and accepts parameters upon run) compressor/decompressor, and add to the batch files that do everything to de/recompress everything as neccessary.

    yeah, it does split seperatly. As for the rest of it, I wouldn't know how to do it sadly. <_<

    I wrote a program to automatically decompress/recompress every file in a given folder. It's packaged with the S1 disassembly. Of course, the decompressed files couldn't be used by SonED2.

    Could you give me the link? hmm, I didn't think about it working or not with sonED. Doesn't matter, I could edit the art with TLP.
