    seems the blue orb would blend into sky, made bug more buggy - bee-like - if center blue orb was blue for a reason unknown. I like the vein in the wing or at least organic welds. ;) the bands should translate well/make character pop was the thought. nice stuff all.

    Also, what about using a mesh metal for the wings, rather than a film? The veins can stay.

    tbh, I don't think the wings move far enough to look "realistic"; just check out this slow-motion clip of a bee's wing movements:

    It wouldn't look good doing it as exaggerated as this, but I thought it's an interesting reference in future.

    I suppose it's too late to mention this, I guess?

    I always considered the whisp as more of a fly than a bee. Here is a video of a fly taking off; I think my whisp is pretty close to that, especially considering I only have 2 frames to do it in.

    Also, it's never too late for suggestions, I'm always willing to go back and change something if I feel it needs it, and as always, I really appreciate the feedback you guys give.

    Now, here is the latest revision of the flasher. I only did work on the head and a little on the barrel thing (we still need to figure out what it exactly it is). The antenna are still messed up a little too. Let me know what you think.

    Lol, I was told by Vincent to only upload it as the 4x resolution, so I have focused on working on it at that resolution. I will probably only upload at the correct 4x resolution from now on. Sorry.

    That doesn't help to spot out the finer detail. Why can't you load up both?

    Make the antennas reach the same height. You might need to change the angle of the antenna in the back to match the new size. It's a perspective thing ;)

    Thankyou for that.

    Maybe changing the angle of one of the horns to match the other would make it better. At the moment the perspective of them being together looks odd. Maybe you could do two mockups of the horns to see which one turns out best.

    Can you make the horns like... exact as in the original concept art? Also, the jaw can be improved. Now it looks like an empty toilet paper roll with a gradient inside.

    Just curious: has anyone noticed that in the original sprite the horns are YELLOW? I know that having completely yellow horns in the remake would look abhorable, but maybe just make the base of the horns yellow? It would balance out the contrast of the barrel and the rest of the Flasher.

    Yeah, I hadn't done anything drastic to the antennas yet, just wanted to see what kinda of response they would get first.

    Fabulous!! ;)

    I really love how you adjusted his shades during the light burst animation! Good job!

    There is just an offset problem within the width of the light:
    -Light's left side is wider the the right side, therefore the light source seems not centered on the light bulb.


    P.s. It's not a request, but would you mind posting an APNG version of it? (with transparent BG)
