    Yes, that's the correct way to export it!

    The arrow on the left gauge results a bit aligned to the right, try moving it a bit on the left, so it appears perfectly uniform with the other one!

    I think FLASH CS3 should have "pixel preview mode" in "view" menu to help you out!
    It's great to test the actual results! :D

    I kinda like them, but the 3 on the bottom half of it are overkill.

    This is becoming very frustrating...
    I align them perfectly in flash but the alignment problems only seems to happen during exporting.

    I gotta agree, the one with just the arrow looks better, as well its not affected by alignment issues and its more visible without being cramped with the black lines..

    This version is clearly more visible (arrows were almost covered into metal in the previous one!)
    But it is too flat!

    Why don't you try to place only lines on the upper part? (with them being distant enough to do not touch each other and cause garbled pixels)

    Yeah that's the database for this project. You can register as per the instructions. I registered for it and none of my art has been approved for the database yet, so you can too.

    RGX, your platform has been approved. Please continue to refine it in the Approved Level Art topic! Whether or not you feel it is necessary to improve upon it is completely up to you, as I agree - your piece is an excellent example of what we're after and should be uploaded to the database. I've already spoken to Vincent and the other staff about this, so expect an answer very soon. The gate piece is coming along quite nicely as well.

    Regarding database uploads: for the time being (as I've been given to understand) we're trying to keep official uploads in the hands of the projects leaders to avoid confusion.

    Sirius: We're still waiting for you to redo the areas of your art that you had done in gradients. Please continue your improvements.

    While the database is currently open to anyone for register, there are too many duplicates or totally unusable art not following project standards or guidelines.

    That's why we want to keep uploads almost exclusively for "officially" accepted contributions.
    (Except Concept thread, where you can upload everything you want)

    When your art is approved you can provide us the source file (unrasterized-with layers intact!) and a transparent png to use it as placeholder.
    How to provide us?

    You send privately CK or me the source file so we can directly register to the database as *APPROVED* -Name-.
    (Alternatively you can upload it on the Database by yourself, but remember to add it as *APPROVED* -Name- !)

    Two things,

    1)Metal shades are the same as the original 4x! Add more shading! :argh:
    2)The connecting holes between sections are too big, try to stretch them to be narrower! ||

    Apart that, is getting on the win side! :eng101:

    Beyond what Vincent said, we're encouraging more creative freedom now due to the expanded color palette. If there's something you can think of to add more character to a piece, by all means post it up. One area I see where this could really shine is on the metal portion of the gate (no pun intended). There's a lot of grey being used all over CPZ, and in keeping with our intent to create the definitive HD style, adding flavor to break up the monotony goes a long way.

    Okay, so the neck is still being worked on, so no point in criticizing that. I just want your opinion on the body, I made the shading more realistic and less orange.
