Which style sprites do you like better?

Heh, they are all VERY similar I'd swear that they just edited the originial sprites... so I vote for the original.

SA1 for me, though the classic mixed with new style running looked gay.

 

Sonic Battle sprites are the best in my opinion.

There you have it, folks. I don't know why they decided to do away with the oldschool run; all I know is that I want it back.

 

I too prefer SAdv1 sprites. Evrery time they edited them, they seemed to get worse and worse.

For Sonic specifically? Sonic Advance 2 & 3. So sue me, but I like the new run. It looks "faster." Although, if we're talking the sprites in general, then I'd say Sonic Battle, but mostly just because there's so many sprites for that game.

Anyway, I choose Sonic Advance 1.

 

Sonic Battle style sprites. More poses to use as emotion-type poses and such for me. But I do like to use a few Advance sprites of all 3 Adv. games in my sheets, so I generally just throw what sprites I want together and give them all the same pallette. n.n But yes, Sonic Battle sprites are my favourites. n.n

 

I choose SonicAdv2-3.

I'm one of the few people out there that enjoyed all 3 sonic advance games, so kinda a tough call for me.

I'm gonna have to go with Advance 1 though. Advance 2 did have some new moves that looked pretty sweet (such as "boost mode" and the R-tricks) but the actual sprite art looks ugly compared to Advance 1. Advance 3 was nothing special with sprites, and battle I've never played

so I guess It's the original for me (which happens to be my favorite out of all 3 advances).

 

Tails have never looked good in those games.

 

I think Tails looked nice in Sonic Battle.
