It's a platformer that focuses on speed and uses pinball mechanics - what other game besides Sonic is anything like Sonic? I mean...I guess if you take into consideration that, yes, pinball machines did exist prior to Sonic games, then you could kind of say that Sonic isn't original...but that would be just kind of dumb.
