So I recently came across this while browsing the Web:

That font instantly struck me as familiar, as it's the same one used in Sonic Adventure's subtitles. I tried using WhatTheFont.com, but it didn't give me anything useful. Does anyone know what font this is?

I remember from back in the day that Benguiat Frisky is also a good match.

Since this topic still shows up on google when searching for Sonic Adventure cutscene font, I think it's worth a bump with the correct info (and some background info) for posterity. Sorry, mods. It's for a good cause.

Filmotype Prima was the original one. (1955)

Benguiat Frisky was inspired by it and was released 5 years later (1960)

The one Sonic Adventure uses is Impress, released in 1983.

Impress is a very slight update to Filmotype Prima, with rounded corners and a more upright feel. Even with the low res, you can tell it's Impress as that's the only one with a slightly concave shape on E's vertical stroke.
