To touch a Hedgehog

Uh... maybe you should come up with a better title... but I would assume he'd feel like a real hedgehog, you can't pet his quills, only his stomach.

 

Quills look pretty furry to me.

 

If it's anything like a normal hedgehog, then bristly.

Based on the early (1991) pictures of sonic, I always likened his skin/surface to be similar to a dolphin. that whole rubber-ish feel...

 

Yeah, but thats like saying droopy dog would feel like a scrotum if you touched him. Oh wait, he probably would.

I always opted for a sort of furry feel, myself. Maybe fleshy in the more flesh-colored parts, like they were parts where his fur was less prevalent. I have no idea how those huge quills could possibly qualify as sharp, though, barring the very tips of them, making the whole "spin attack" aspect kind of... weird.

 

If you want the feel of a real hedgehog, ask SillyJonna. She has one.

 

Well, I don't know what I'd feel, but I know Sonic would feel violated.

actually, I've touched both a dolphin AND a hedgehog.

Fun fact: if you rub your hand over a hedgehog's quills, your palms will come out looking sparkly for some reason that I'm sure is beyond me.

 

I think the sheer amount of stupidity from the Sonic 4 thread leaked out a bit.

He probably felt like a normal hedgehog back then, but now his quills are probably as soft as packing foam.

 

Classic Sonic's skin is clearly made out of rubber. Modern Sonic's? I'd imagine his entire body would feel like regular skin. His quills have to be stuffed full of foam or feathers or something.

I wonder how long this thread will last.

I think I rubbed it the wrong way.

 

I once rescued a hedgehog from the main road outside my house. I didn't actually touch it because I handled it with gloves. It smelt terrible aswell as being covered in fleas and ticks. I fed it some cat food, then released it into the back garden. So maybe that's why Tails doesn't follow Sonic anymore.
