Calling it a port is being generous... it's about as much of a port as the TaxStealth remasters, isn't it?
In the old days a port reused (some of) the code, a conversion was an attempt to reproduce a game on a completely different system with no shared components. But no one really agrees on these definitions.
I like the look of this, it’ll be interesting to see what project comes out of this, as he’s apparently building the engine to make his own sonic game.
