Some are nice, self-contained PDFs, but most are HTML-based things. It's going to need some thought, and I don't want to think right now. It goes some way to solving one of the crazy challenges Sega Retro once set itself: part numbers Look, a juicy official photograph of part number 125-5214, "SPRING TOP". number 30 in the 610-0619 ANALOG JOYSTICK MRF assembly. I've never been so thrilled. EDIT: I've put the whole disc here: https://retrocdn.net/File:SegaService_ServiceManuals_2002-09-16.7z (yes I know it will probably get lost to time) In a perfect world, it would all be renamed, analysed and, if required, added to Sega Retro as individual files. But I don't know what the best course of action with HTML manuals is, and it's not super clear what the purpose of everything is. A puzzle for someone else to solve.
I thought about touching up some broken links and images, but it gets technical very quickly (-> never had to assemble an Arcade Cabinet), and sometimes folders are misplaced or simply not there.* I will gladly refrain from doing more than acknowledging its existence, but I admit that it's fascinating to look at. I'm going to let someone else make decisions about whether we need both the 4K and HD versions, or whether they need converting to something more wiki-friendly. My guess is this press kit will be updated as it gets closer to launch too.

I remember in 1991 (it was not long after I got my Mega Drive for Christmas 1990) Makro in the UK started selling Sega games in blister packs, I got a couple as they were cheaper than regular shops (Makro was trade only). At the time I just assumed this was some anti-shoplifting thing that Macro did themselves, but in hindsight they must have just been regular French blister packs, what with Makro being a French chain. So these were also sold in the UK to a limited extent. You can see also see some pictures of them in French stores from the Sonic 3 launch. Edit: I was mistaken, Makro were Dutch, not French, so still possible they got their stock from France, but not a certainty.

Sega '93 Amusement Machine Guide Sega '94 Amusement Machine Guide Have seen numerous bits and pieces from these before via lower quality scans, magazine articles etc (Ultima Generacion used a lot of material from the 94 one in their October 95 Sega piece), but still much interesting stuff in them. Most of all, there's some substituted conceptual art for several machines (e.g. a bloody huge remake of Periscope that never released in the end), and possibly our highest quality photo of Segasonic Cotton Candy Scramble yet?

If you see a blue link (and it's pointing to the right place), the information on that site needs to be compared with ours. If it's a red link, that's either because the hidden content page doesn't exist, or the name is wrong. I translated these en masse through Google translate - many names will be wrong, and it'll take a few days to correct them all. If there's no new information, take it off the list. If there's something we don't have, it needs verifying within the game itself, and if repeatable, documented on Sega Retro. With screenshots if possible. If it's very clearly discussing bugs, those will need to go on a Bugs sub-page. If it's something documented in the manual, do something else with it. It's my intention to go through as much of this as possible, but if you want to save me some work, here's your chance.

One example of a bug I've found in that list is preventing stage 0 of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood from ending by crouching when Death leaves. I also suggest using DeepL more than Google Translate when going through the pages from that site - its translations are generally more concise than Google Translate's.
