Saturn Fan https://archive.org/details/@gamebookscaner Watch out for page numbers on the registration card bits. Realistically I'm not going to be able to keep on top of this while Retro CDN is playing games with uploads. Also reviews.
I guess not... it happens... and you fixed them, so... thank you very much for your service, Sir Gestalt ... edit: I'm downloading issue #11 of ''Arcadia'' magazine... it's 844 MB large... it may take a while to show up on Retro CDN, depending on our server's "mood"...
https://archive.org/details/electronic-games-1994-12/mode/2up this is #27 - #28 came through fine, so it'll take a 291MB file from me, but not a 440MB one.
A project for someone: https://archive.org/details/sega-freaks-trading-cards https://archive.org/details/sega-super-play-trading-cards-panini-1992 Sega Freaks and Sega Super Play cards.
https://archive.org/details/pub_mart Sega trade ads and articles from the 80s. Requires account for digital lending which means no downloads, so screen grabs on hires screen preferable. Or maybe there's a simpler way that I'm not aware of.
Examples (ads seem to be linked to CES appearances) ... note unreleased games announced at 1983 Winter CES;
Always on the look for GamesMaster - found a few more: https://archive.org/details/@tominator44 Not sure the quality of the scans match the 700MB+ file size though. It might need some thought.
https://archive.org/details/@sf4seth Super Power (Finland) ...but they're 1.5GB a piece so someone will need to decide how to handle them.
I've got 10 more to upload but the server takes a nap every 5 minutes or so. Converted the TIFFs to JPGs (which halved the file size) and changed the dpi to 150 (which again halved the file size) - the file size is now around 250 MB.
Top Kids (Argentina) ... all watermarked (a nasty watermark on each page)... which is sad because we don't have many Argentinian magazines... what a waste...
Fighters Mega Books Mix Ultimate Guide https://archive.org/details/fighters-megamix-mega-books-ultimate-guide Download keeps failing for me right now so leaving this here for anyone else who wants to attempt it. Apparently contains various comics, AM2 history, developer interviews etc alongside all of the game guide stuff
I'm downloading it... just in case it gets lost... but the problem would be to upload it to Retro CDN due to the size limit... the .pdf version is 1G and the .cbr one is 1.6G ... I don't know how to solve this problem... I'm an amateur with this stuff...
I've downloaded it, but can't upload it to the CDN for the same reason I couldn't upload something else prior (https://forums.sonicretro.org/index...ns-thread-has-answers.9561/page-7#post-981817).
Used this site to nick some Japanese patents on AM5 attractions a while back, just learning now that it'll get shut down in a week's time. If I remember correctly one of the easiest ways to get results was to search under names (I suggest trying other AM4 and AM5 developers), if anyone else with an account is willing to pull other Sega patents off here. https://astamuse.com/
