  1. Like many, many others who grew up with Sonic Adventure, I always wondered if Tails was male or female.

Also, I always thought that Chao, pronounced, "chow," was pronounced "Chai-o"

    Here's a good one.

When I was a young one, I dreamed of finally beating Sonic 2. It was such a challenge for me. I played that game probably one hundred times before finishing it. For the first 50 or so, I wondered what happens after you beat Wing Fortress Zone. I never thought what the final boss would be; I assumed you just, well, Passed a flagpole and the ship would crash. I was quite horribly suprised when Death Egg Zone reared it's ugly head. I didn't properly finish Sonic 2, in one sitting, with no cheats, until I think it was Sonic's birthday in '09. Since then I beat it in one sitting AND with all the chaos emeralds on actual hardware I bought much later.

TL;DR, I was wrong how the game ended.

OFFTOPIC: I remember playing Sonic 2 with my friend when I was 6 on his PC (with USB Genesis controller adaptors!)that had Sonic 2 along with a 3D racing with flickies in it, among a few other games on the disc. What disc was that?

Sega PC Mega Pack and Sonic Action 4 Pack are the only compilations listed on the wiki as including both Sonic 2 and Sonic R (the racing game, I thought everyone knew that :P). Their release dates (2003 and 2001) fit with your ages then and now.

I'm ... not entirely sure it was Sonic R. I remember racing as a Flicky quite distinctly.

    Working on my art!
Only Sonic racing game to ever have a Flicky in it was Sonic Drift... before they removed it in replacement for Amy

Ah, I thought you were referring the the Flickies that fly around at the beginning of races in Resort Island.

    Maybe you were playing Flicky?

I think that's the only game where a flicky was ever playable.
