Things in Sonic Games you misinterpreted when you were younger...

This used to be a joke for a while in my family."FOR THE LAST TIME, KNUCKLES IS NOT A GIRL!".

 

Yeah I noticed that too. I always figured that Knuckles was teasing Sonic or something, kind of like the school yard scenario. "Pick on someone you like".

Oh same, especially looking at that Sonic 2 title screen.

 

I also thought that knuckles was a girl, and that she was Sonic's ex-girlfriend, picking on him beacuse she was mad at him for leaving her.

I also thought Knuckles name was " Quincules", as Knuckle is a pretty tricky name to write and pronounce in spanish.

 

When I was a kid I walked past a Sonic Adventure DX advertisement (which pretty much was a larger version of the box art) and I though Chaos was an evil liquidized Sonic.

 

Oh, never saw it like that. I did always figure they'd end up together at the end, though. Was kinda sad when they didn't.

Hahaha, I like that. There's an idea in there for an Amy game...

A friend of mine saw the box in GAME, and was convinced it was too, having never played the Dreamcast original. It took him actually seein the different boss forms in-game to convinced him it wasn't.

In Sonic Adventure 2, it looked pretty much to me like Knuckles pulled a Chaos Emerald out of his ass at one point. No matter how many times I see it, I can't figure out another explanation. It happens in Biolizard's boss room, on the podium. Eugh, I dislike that game.

 

I don't know how, but I always knew Knuckles was male. Probably something on the box that indicated that he was male, that someone read to me. My sister knew this too, but she would play as him because "he looks like a girl."

 

Am I the only one that see the super sonic and super shadow transform scene in SA2 as if they were fapping ?

The problem starts at about 2:41. I was a sheltered kid, but now I kinda see it for what it is :/ Badnik fun time.

 

You are absolutely not the only one. I remember that scene far too well. It's shortly after the one I mentioned where Knuckles produces a Chaos Emerald from...himself. But yeah, when that 'Chaos fap' scene happened, I was playing the game with a friend of mine, and the look on his face was priceless. He looked like he'd just seen his childhood burn.

If you watch again, Sonic smacks the first badnik backwards, so the second one ends up...ahem...'riding' it. Maybe your mind's just got dirtier as you've got older

 

I also see that. Gosh, sonic is full of perv-ness!

 

WHAT THE HELL!?!

I had never seen that, why the fuck do they have to shake their hands like that? Man, and they even gradually increase concentration and speed, that's sick! And the fact that they are doing it together makes the whole scene super gay!

 

I thought that too. I always assumed that either Robotnik was trying to disguise himself (which kinda makes sense) or that he was wearing armour because Knuckles was more dangerous or something. Even when I worked out it was a robot a the end, I still couldn't figure out why a robot had been doing that stuff...

 

Mine would definitely have to be the ever so infamous barrel in Sonic 3. After getting "TIME OVER" so much by jumping up and down on the same barrel over and over, I came to the conclusion Sonic 3 was impossible to beat.

...then I discovered the internet, which gave me the answer in around 20 seconds flat. ^^;

 

I always figured that Robotnik had a huge world-conquering agenda to fill in a short time span so he got some Robots to help him out.

I was always confused as to why they stuck to Knuckles though, and wouldn't Knuckles have realized by then that Robotnik isn't on his side?

 

First things first, Knuckles produces an unusually tiny Master Emerald, not a Chaos Emerald. Yes, it does look like they are fapping.


I thought Knuckles was a girl at first too, but only because the old late-1970's TV I was playing the game on made him look really pink.

 

Knuckles reminds me of Raven from Teen Titans. :\ I never thought he was a girl though, I think it's just the way his quills look. They look similar to Raven's hair style. :\ And his eye shape kind of reminds me of her's, and his eyes are purple. When I was younger, I thought you could actually damage Robotnik while he watches you take on Mecha Sonic in Sonic 2. :v:

 

Oh, me too. I was like "Why doesn't he get huuurt?! " as a kid.

By the way, anyone here know the "Kill Mecha Sonic in under 10 seconds" trick?
