You can enter any version of a hack. My hack last year was beta-ish and it won something, so I think you can.
I am going to enter with a pre (and not public) release of my hack. Lost Wood zone should be finished because I'm making its last part: an update to level layout, rings and sprites placement. I just have to speed up a bit the developpment of this level instead of playing it on week ends... *optimistic* I can't wait to see other hacks released, even if you will not be able to see my own release. :evil: Good luck!
I'll be entering a few things, including Sonic The Fighter and this hack of Chaotix I've been working at.
I'm gonna try for the 2337 trophy. Trust me, I can make a horrible hack when I really try. you might get a siezure once Emerald Hill rolls around, and I'm gonna make it absolutley downright impossible.(Of cousr level select will be there for some more fun eye bleeding) These have to be in by May 19? That should give me enough time if I work non-stop.
*wipes sweat from his brow* I do believe I will finally be able to enter the competition... and May 19 is my official release date... However, I already have the version ready... it's just undergoing tests by my BETAs... I'll send a PM or speak to Mustapha over MSN about it...
I'm gonna try and enter both Sonic 1 Megamix and Sonic 2 Megamix. I'm not sure which would score higher, so here's hoping for the best. ^_^
Shit! All hacks into Samantha by tomrrow? CRAP! *gets RHS Version 0.90 ready* EDIT: It's not all going to be done by tomorrow so I'm going to have to give this contest a miss and wait for the next one, if there will be a next one =P
