We'll get to see 1 picture we've already seen in Generations in like 2019 I'm guessing.

 

Meh... They could start from the beginning, rather than the last DC game.

 

They are doing a poll to vote for which Sonic concept art you would like to see first. So far Sonic Adventure 2 is winning but I personally want to see more Sonic CD artwork which is currently in second. Hurry up and make a vote you guys! There is six hours left! The poll is for Sonic CD, Knuckles Chaotix, and Sonic Adventure 2. --------> Vote Here on the Sonic Twitter!

 

Putting Sonic Adventure 2 on that list makes the poll pretty much a rhetorical question. They already talked about wanting to to SA2 concept art, and a lot of people on Twitter are big fans of SA2, so it's obvious we're going to see SA2 stuff first. The polls pretty much to hype it up.

I'd be surprised if we saw concept of the former two at all.

 

You honestly think that would tease concept art of all three and then withhold two of them because they lost the popularity contest?

 

It doesn't actually matter what order it comes in, as long as it's archived on our wiki (hint hint).

Splats turns up.

 

In a different color pallete I guess? I don't remember the trading card having those colors.

Also, as far as the SA2 sketchbook, it's just going to be page after page of Terios sketches. I'm calling it now. I really wanted Sonic CD to win the poll but due time I guess. I was hoping for more of the mysterious R2 level.

Speaking of Sonic CD: I can't find it documented on the wiki that Amy Rose is incorrectly referred to as "Princess Sally" in the US, possibly others, manual.

Beautiful... I was a "fervorous" Panini collector in my childhood... football, Mortal Kombat, Dinosaurs (TV series, one of the few I managed to complete), Widget (TV Series), etc... but i can't remember of this Sonic the Hedgehog album... How did I miss this preciousness? Oh the remorse />/> ...

 

Nostalgia overload. I'm almost certain I had that too! The image is flooding some memories back. Sonic was such an integral and awesome part of my childhood.

I don't think I've seen a picture of Splats in the wild where he hasn't had that colour scheme - it's only the in-game sprite that's blue... and didn't someone make up that palette? I forget.

 

There's also this picture where Splats appears as an action figure. It seems like we just use Sonic's palette to render Splats.

 

I'm just mistaken. My bad. :v:

EDIT: Sonic CulT had a weird pallete for him. Maybe I thought of that?

 

Speaking of Splats, did we ever find out the reason he was scrapped?

 

I'd go with "not good enough".

 

I think he had a different palette in the Archie comics. Green, maybe? He's green in my head at least. Pretty much everything had weird colors in that comic though because the colorists clearly weren't familiar with the games.
