At this point I would happily accept Sonic with a hat. Getting tired of buying the same damn Sonic but they put a new sticker on the monitor this time.
Genuine question - if you don't like the extra Sonics, why are you buying them? Repacks are first and foremost for kids and parents to make sure they can get the main cast, with the side benefit of being an on-ramp for new collectors. I have dabbled in my own completionist urges over the years but it always bewilders when I hear of others needing to pick up every even slightly distinct release.

Not bad but def not my favorite works of theirs. Never really cared for Tails’ tech designs though, to me they come off as Fisher price meets Nicola Tesla.
Not my favorite, to be honest there's been something off about the recent batch of F4F statues. Wish that they would stop with the 3 different editions and just focus on one idea that works, instead of having to keep on tacking elements/features to justify a higher price. For example, seems like one of the reasons they chose the base was because they needed something that lights up. If you want I can sell you the shoes for the original price plus whatever the shipping would be.
I agree with you, but in fairness all the tech in Sonic has been pretty cartoon smooth and glossy the past 2 decades. Can we honestly expect a multi-media billion-dollar IP spanning over 35 years and premised on a narrative of robots and technology to actually put effort into how said technology is depicted? If you start investing in a technological narrative suddenly people are going to start expecting things like new concepts for levels, and then how would Sega make room for new fans? /s
Yeah, if I want a Tails display, I want one that incorporates his literal tails in the design of the piece and not shoved to the side. That's the most striking part about his character design. Tails the genius holding an iPad/wrench is boring as hell. Spoiler t.idiot that bought a 3rd Tails figure cause he came with an iPad
The Jakks CE figure is cool, and has 3 different tails that you can change. I'm sure it'll be available through stores like the Sonic figure but you can get it through here now.
