Extra "behind the scenes" pics just for you babe. Anyone not named charcoal, look away Wish I had time to get better shots for this but oh well. This toyline has been sick as hell. I missed out on the Jazware ones but I'm not upset these days because of how on the ball Jakk's has been. Especially after Tomy blew it.
She hates it, but I love my shower curtain. Here's most of the SEGA stuff she got me for Christmas too.
I ran out of Sonic stuff to (reasonably) buy so I finally picked this up after seeing it for years. Searched the thread all the way back to 2017 and saw no mention of its existence. Didn't find anything using the Search function or on the Wiki. You guys hate board games or something? I'll see what I can document. Apparently there are 3 "revisions" of this game but the only thing that really changed were clarifying some of the rules. There's also the crowd funded Sonic Battle Racers by Shinobi 7. I ain't buying this though. Not unless I can find it for stupid cheap. Both Battle and Crash have Tabletop Simulator mods available in the workshop for anyone curious. There is also some material at Board Game Geek Crash Course Battle Racers
Damn he's good. Now I have a page to rip off. While looking stuff up for Crash Course, I came across Sonic the Card Game. It also has a TTS Mod. I didn't even know it existed. I was fiddling with some ideas on how to make a deck building Sonic game and one already exists. Or at least it did. I can't seem to find where to buy this damn thing outside of one ebay listing that's asking for 70 God damn bones for what might be a lame-o game. -------- Upon further review, this card game sounds boring as hell. You're playing a game of chicken. Character cards don't actually do anything. Once a player forfeits, they're out of the rest of the round. Rounds go fast but it's still lame. All of the artwork is stock art. Someone else can be the TCG sucker.
Somehow I own 2 copies of this game and... You're sorta right, it's apparently like another card game that exists, but has some variance due to the "power" cards. But when I played it for the review I did, after playing a few rounds with my mum (yes my mum), we ended up making our own rules for it, like giving each 'character' abilities to use during a round, other ideas were to make a ruleset in which you build 'team decks' for bonus points. Gives more incentive to take more risks and play time.
PMI stuff is starting to crop up. Page listing on Toy Wiz for various novelty collectible figures. Jakks still has their own Sonic Prime toyline coming up. PMI just has the license for other things like stickers, stamps and whatever useless trinkets.
This thing is excellent. God I'd love to send one back in time to myself 20 years ago to get the appropriate "play value" out of it. But I'll settle for using it as the world's most handsome headphone stand. The little Sonic it comes with scales nice to the Jakks Mecha Sonic I got for Christmas last year too, which makes me happy.
Caught this guy digging into my trash, so I took his mugshot and seized his tiny little paraphernalia! (This is probably the best figure I've ever had of a Sonic character, the next best one I got was a Sonic the Werehog who's arms fell off)
New 2.5" Wave should be dropping soon https://mobile.xcancel.com/news_merch/status/1624150364785106949 New to the wave are Amy and Neutron. Re-releases are Chili Dog Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow. 4" should be around the corner soon hopefully. Jet, Super Silver, Tails and Classic Sonic are up next. No images of them yet.
Is it just me or is Amy's skirt extremely short on that figure? Maybe it's just the camera angle but it's like it isn't even covering her underwear lol
