So I stopped by Hallmark to check out those Sonic Christmas ornaments. My thoughts were that they were not very good quality and expensive. The painting seemed sloppy, and at about $50 CAD for the pair, I just didn't feel like I needed them. Also I theme my Christmas tree how I think Robotnik would decorate his, industrial, flat-black and copper... so they wouldn't fit in... on the other hand, I would cherish them as my "Sonic" ornaments for life, so I'm indecisive as per usual... Anyone else thinking of getting them? Does anyone think they may increase in value as a collectors item? I'm looking for reasons to spend the cash I suppose.
They probably will increase in value. It seems like Sonic merch always has a higher resale value, but if you would "cherish them for life" resale value doesn't matter much.
My mom is all about Hallmark ornaments so I'm very likely going to get one for Christmas without asking. Not that I mind, although my tree is very small and I can barely fit all my ornaments on there as is. >.>
The Knuckles ornament is probably going to be the most likely to increase in value due to being more limited in quantity.
I had the opposite reaction, I was actually really surprised by the quality of the ornaments I got. The paint job was nice and the sculpts were delicate and detailed. I don’t know about 50 CAD but they we’re definitely worth 20 USD
I don't know, the kid in me wants them but the adult in me is like... this is a minor feature on a tree that others may or may not even see, it is really worth spending money on them? They do look cool, though!
I actually just have mine hanging from the ceiling on some fishing line lol. They might go on the tree, they might not.

A Fang the Sniper plush from GE Entertainment is probably on the way. It's surprising they're making him before Mighty or Ray, but I'm sure as hell not gonna complain. New shirts depicting Knuckles in Lava Reef and Pumpkin Hill: That's some sweet art if you ask me. I especially love the detail with the Death Egg in the Lava Reef background, even if it's technically inaccurate to Knuckles' story in S3K

Got the Jakks Tornado set today from Walmart. Pretty cool considering the Tornado doesn't get a lot merch.
