(Yeah, I know it's a thing likely to do with the existing EU merch shop - well, that used to exist. Being somewhat facetious, but my point about them needing to sort it stands. =P)
I dunno. Kinda doubt that it's that. The US had their own version of that store with the same branding and a similar selection of items. The US one didn't come along until after the European one, but they both closed at the same time. And Europe recently got this awful SEGA By Me store that's so shitty I couldn't even remember what it was called. It's just a bunch of items with stock art printed on them and you can customise them with your name. And yes, it's official. Why the proper SEGA store isn't available in Europe is a mystery.
This topic is also for showing items in personal collections too is it not? I have two signed items in my Sonic Collection. I've collected over 250 different Sonic items to date over the years but these two I hold in special regard; I had this poster signed at Summer of Sonic 2011 by Yuji Naka, Takashi Iizuka and Jun Senoue. I was very lucky to meet Naka and Iizuka as the line for signings was cut-off right after me and my friend as they were due on-stage for another Q+A session. So I got it signed by the skin of my teeth practically. Waited two friggin' hours in the queue too :v:/> At Summer of Sonic 2013, I had my History of Sonic book signed by Takashi Iizuka and Kazuyuki Hoshino. In retrospect, I regret not having the first inner page signed because signatures on the cover tend to smudge. Nearly my entire Sonic plush collection. Shadow on the top shelf is shy I think lol.
Mimikyu and Kirby must feel intimidated. And, yes, the shop issue is bullshit, specially when I don't have a fellow friend that could buy stuff in the US store for me and then send it here. Funny that overlord's examples are the places out of here where I have friends living (UK, France, Germany).

As a sidenote, as I look the toaster has now passed 750 units, so it's 3 quarters of the way there with another 13 days to go.
With three days and 99 units left to go, SEGA put out a little push for this on social media and via email. It had the desired effect pretty quickly and it's now standing at 1069 with just under three days left. Not an amazing result yet, but a decent one nonetheless because it's hit its goal. So yeah, that's cool. And because I'm not looking at Mania threads and this is probably lost within then, it might interest people to know that ShopTo are offering a free poster with the game. It's relatively simple - just the five playable characters on a Mania-styled background, but a nice little bonus if you're already planning on getting the game.
Oh cool, more Sonic Mania merchandise I'd actually quite like but can't purchase due to being in the wrong region. Wish SEGA Europe would sort out an equivalent shop for their region - there's quite a few things I'd like to give them money for, only they don't seem interested in providing any means to sell them to me...! ...No, I'm not still salty that there was no way I could get hold of those exclusive Sonic Mania Adventures keychains. Why on earth would you think that? = P

They're slow as hell in adding Europe but I do remember one of the Sega reps saying in a Sonic stream that it is planned and eventual - it's just something they're still working on.
Has anyone seen come across any HQ pictures of the new Boom8 figure prototypes that were shown (at HobbyFair, I think)? All I've been able to find is a video that doesn't really do them much justic.
This is the best I've seen of them. GNF Toyz has a Twitter but they tend to post more frequently on Instagram. There's more pics and videos there of what they have.
