I can only really partially answer this. The clothes I bought are from an official collaboration with Sega you can check out the link to their limited clothing line here at http://www.dropdead.co/collections/guys-ddxsonic I would assume it's very dodgy to sell unofficial merch as a whole so this is the part I really don't know for sure. In any case I just got in more stuff from Drop Dead! I really wish they would pack in the handbills in something more secure because they always come in damaged :/
Hey, that's some new art in there... right? It strictly follows SEGA's coloring guidelines so it seems to come from an official source, in case anybody was wondering.
I haven't posted in this thread in a long time. Here's some items that I acquired since last year (minus stuff like the F4F statues because I don't have any room for them at the moment so they're staying in their box) Rin and Sonic figure Sonic Japanese Ovas Japanese strategy guides and part 2 of the Sonic manga Dreamcast games, SA band aids and SA2 stickers SA2 plush Boom figure, Sonic pocket watch, graphic novels and RinxSonic plush Sonic 1 Japanese Mega Drive bundle SA clear file and Lost World case with Soundtrack sample Glamglow gravity mud 25th anniversary soundtrack and posters/sticker Han Cholo ring and keychain Drop Dead stuff Anniversary shirt A version I did of the 1990 Dreams Come True poster which I later got Tom Kalinske and Al Nielsen to sign it. It's my hope to have the original Sonic Team and some past SOA staff to sign it. 25th anniversary bag And this is part 1
And part 2, this year has been really hard for my wallet. Tommy plushes Hello Kitty stuff mnwka shirt that was sold at the 25th party 25th art print Transformed clear file And this was announced today, apparently to get the 25th crystal cube, a mug and those figurines you have to buy the Sonic Boom Fire & Ice anniversary edition (Japan only)
Dropdead has 2 new art pieces on it's shirts, the Sonic and Tails on the Dropdead Logo (I have the shirt with that on and love it) + that Beach chair one which kind of reminds me of this artwork: But clearly been updated to be more in line with the cuddly cute version of Classic and less of the attitude.
Wow, that's funny, I just made a custom tee with that Sonic logo : I had to redraw the logo from a picture of JEF United football club's shirt, that was their shirt sponsor in 1993.
I actually thought of your signature when I got this too funny enough lol. But yeah, DropDead sent me this stuff after I requested them to send new posters due to all of them getting destroyed by the time it got to my house. During my many chats with their support I figure they couldn't help me so I let it go, then I got surprised with this in the mail. They even included the limited edition big poster and free Sonic socks!
Dropdead Sonic is a great range. I got some Power Sneaker slippers from em today (crosspost from pickup thread): They came in a nice drawstring bag, along with a couple of teeny purple Chaos Emeralds:
Love the red weed grinder casually placed on the coffee table /> Seriously, I didn't get emeralds or a drawstring bag, or anything but a damn sticker. Hopefully I'll get the other loot when the rest of my order ships.
Fucks sake guys. Do you need to post images that large and then keep quoting them? I know we're not in the days of 56k warnings anymore, but my phone can barely load this page. Drop Dead's stuff is all pretty cool. All their Sonic items comes with a a small card poster, sticker(s) and a plastic Chaos Emerald (except the socks). The drawstring bag is part of the slippers set. I've got the socks, rucksack and a Since '91 pullover so far. Still waiting on the bomber jacket and jumper.
I picked these guys up from Toys-R-Us, and they're ADORABLE: They're three-inch figures, and they come in several variations... Individual packs for $8 each. Sonic & Tails with a reprint of Archie Sonic #25 for $16.99. Sonic and Knuckles with Archie's "Mecha Madness" special for $16.99. All three figures in a "shiny" variation (pictured above) with plastic medallions for $19.99. I didn't much care for the shiny versions, so I got the Sonic & Tails set and picked up Knuckles separately. Though I remember really loving Mecha Madness when I was 8, so if my TRU had that set, I'd have probably gotten it. I'm hoping to do some remodeling soon, but here's where they are for now:
