I probably will, it would just be so much easier if I could buy them here though, plus I've been getting screwed around by American sellers lately, atleast it's a favourable exchange rate.
Importing costs an awful. Several UK-based wholesalers are listing a bunch of these new figures, so fingers crossed we'll be seeing some of them soon.
You're right, I ordered a Sonic 20th Joypolis Statue from Japan over ebay and the postage was a third of the price, I just hope the end result is worth it. I also paid £70 for this, Which was probably too much looking at it now, even if the game itself has never been opened and is still in it's original seal. I was a bit dissapointed in the coin, it's so weightless it might aswell be plastic.
Looks like Jazwares is releasing a Classic Figure 4-pack that includes classic variants of Super Sonic, Sonic, Tails and Amy... http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/dragonballzcentral_2177_1117618783 I've got to say, Jazwares has really outdone themselves on this 20th anniversary line. Sure, the badniks aren't quite as detailed as we'd all want them to be, but the sculpts - particularly the classic line - are pretty phenomenal. I'm pretty sure Jazwares used the old official model sheets - Amy, Tails and Eggman look identical in size and style. http://info.sonicretro.org/File:Classic_amy_orthographic.svg http://info.sonicretro.org/images/e/e3/Classic_eggman_orthographic.svg http://info.sonicretro.org/images/6/6f/Classic_tails_orthographic.svg
Those huge figures are marvelous, I told myself I wouldn't buy any more toys now that my 3.5 inch collection was complete, but god damn they keep on releasing more. I hope that Amy comes seperately from the rest
Before I start, this hat is awesome. At Spencer's, but I'm not spending 19.99 on it. Now onto Toys R Us news. I can verify the glory that is the 12 inch Classic figure for 19.99. Grab it. They make it in Modern too. Also, there is Modern Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow Super Posers, the big 10ish inch figures. New to me, not sure if new to you guys. Also, Modern Eggman pack: I passed, I'm not too into Eggman. I also spotted and snagged this little beast for 24.99. 15 inches of Plushy goodness: I didn't spot a Modern design in this size, though they have slightly smaller Modern Sonic and Tails that hang from the hooks. This was sitting on the shelf though, presumably because it's gigantic. Yes, it's the same design as the smaller, shitty looking classic Sonic, but this looks to be of a much better quality. Definitely worth a look. And finally, sale on all Sonic and Mario 2-5 inch figures. Buy 2, get 1 free. Sale runs through Saturday. If you've been holding out on the three inch figures, now's the time because if you guy them in groups of three, they're even cheaper than Target (slightly)
There is a Sonic + Amy + Comic pack, just by the by. Apparently that finally came around. http://www.jazwares.com/2010/products/Sonic-20th-Comic-Book-Pack/Sonic-20th-Comic-Book-Pack-amy If they don't sell it individually/you don't mind another Sonic.

Awesome! I wonder why delayed... and I wonder if it'll make it by November. And I wonder what size(s)
Huh. Maybe that particular store got a shipment early, because I'm not seeing the Jumbo Classic Sonic listed online. I haven't checked a local store yet, but man if I swallow my pride and go to Toys R Us I do NOT like leaving empty handed. Toys R Us.com still has the Comic Con exclusive Sonic (the fuzzy one) listed in stock though. Still 29.99.
Are you looking for the plushie or the 12" action figure? I think I still have the receipt and you could call them with the SKU.
The stores ALWAYS get them before the site it seems, I got 90% of the collection from the store before the site had em
I had to go to a different Toys R Us to get the giant Classic Sonic. The one down the street from my house didn't have it, or the 3 in Super Sonic with the tin, but I found both at a bigger Toys R Us a bit farther away. I figure the more high volume stores get the stuff in quicker.
Reasonable assumption. One store sucks for me, another one is chock full of stock. No one else picking up the giant Classic Sonic plush? The 24.99 pricetag is steep, but I knew I had to have it.
I picked one up last week when I first went to see if they had the large figure in. I tried to do some browsing on eBay to see if there was something a little better looking elsewhere, but I eventually ended up giving in. I just can't figure for the life of me why it's so difficult to nail Sonic as a plush. The best looking Sonic plushes I've seen aren't even plushes:
