There's a long-standing problem with Sega Retro: one of Sega's biggest franchises is Sakura Taisen (aka Sakura Wars). I can't stress enough how little interest I have in this series. It should be about steampunk robots fighting demons, but it's usually about dancing and love triangles. You may remember previous adventures - the twice-annual stage shows, the elaborate mobile portals, the real life cafes - it keeps coming back to haunt me, so here's a topic to dump this noise in, in the hope that someone will (properly) document it for us. Today on "make it stop", unexpected Dreamcast demo discs: When something Sakura Taisen-related was released for the Dreamcast, it became a tradition to add a bonus disc previewing (or summarising) the latest work. These were often mislabeled as the 4th disc in a set, but we're better off applying the same logic as Sonic Adventure 2: The Trial by treating them as separate pieces of software. So here's some pages: Sakura Taisen 3 Movie Disc Sakura Taisen 3 Preview Disc Sakura Taisen 3 Drama Download Disc Sakura Taisen 4 Preview Disc They mostly consist of movies - I have no idea how useful any of the contents are.

There was another in Shinsaibashi GiGO too, and possibly more we don't know about (limited time pop-up stores?).
