That's an understatement actually, both me AND Aquaslash are working half-simultaneously on the art, with a few minor details covered by D.A.Garden on a basis.

EDIT: and let's not forget about jayextee's hard effort!

Like the avatar by the way Markey.... Do you have any idea who this guy is?

Good god, I can't find that DAMN fourth Chaos Emerald (I can find the switches, but there appears to be a hole above the upper switch, and Scourge/Silver can't get through there), neither can I get past Metal Knux without taking damage.

I like most of what you have so far, but figuring out this special stage is a pain in the rear.

On second thought nevermind. Who knew you can swim?

It's not -too- hard to find that 4th Emerald. Especially if dying but still getting it works (I would assume it's patched now though.)

Has development ceased for this game? I don't have Silver that can use telekinesis and Metal Knuckles has no weakpoint aside from the time he shoots those homing balls of pain.

Development has stagnated a bit as I've been busy as of late, but it has not ceased. Thanks to recent developments, I may be able to push forward at a faster rate than what's been happening. Silver will be able to use PK in the next release. As for Metal Knuckles, that behavior is intentional, though it could stand to be a bit more showy.

Good to hear there's more to come. Though, if that's true about Metal Knuckles then he's too hard. Avoiding all of his attacks is easy (aside from his homing balls of pain), but just simply attacking him is a different story.

All of Team Metallix are designed to be much more competent than the average android. As such, they won't intentionally leave themselves open to attack.

Project's not dead! And I'm back, I hope everyone's in the mood for some new bosses :)

Shouldnt that REALLY be how bosses work? They don't leave themselves open to direct attack... and you gotta try to think of a way to defeat them? God... its like people have such low expectations for difficulty that anytime a boss does anything somewhat intelligent, its too difficult all of a sudden.

AND YES PLEASE! More of the S Factor! I'm a huge fan.

I don't want obvious weakpoints. I really like bosses of Sonic games and enjoyed Eggman Hates Furries, but I just see Metal Knuckles with no weakness.

Ok so! In the midst of having a whole bunch of life changes over the past few months (broke up with gf/moved/got job/etc), I've kinda just been sitting on this thing making but the tiniest of changes. I keep saying I'm going to work on it on my off days, but then they come and I just sleep/play Gotham City Impostors.

    That's no good!

Nothing seems to make me work on something than people telling me what's wrong with it, so how about this. First ten people to shoot me a PM get to do exactly that. After that, we'll see if some substantial updates can come to this thing.

it might be hard for us to provide feedbacks when we haven't get to try the latest revision of your hack. Since the last playable build, a lot of things must have changed.

Hence the PMing, so those people would receive a private test build or something. I'd happily opt for this, but I honestly don't think I've had much testing experience to give much valuable feedback (could be wrong, but I wouldn't want to jeopardise anything).

I'd love to test this out Aquaslash. Long time fan of this hack and got a good deal of testing experience...
AND plenty of time, since I got an early release from my job... and just waiting to pick up on the new one.

OK, I have acquired my guinea pigs lab rats illegal Mexicans testers, so lets see if this thing can get done in a reasonable time frame.

Shadow Alpha, an awesome hack of Sonic 1
Just posting to let everyone know that I keep interpreting your praise for the boss as praise for me.

also, quick question since this hack is already pretty unique: have you considered making enemy health bars?

An update for this game? Sounds good to me.

  20. Okay, I know this was posted months ago but please, no enemy health bars. They never amount to anything more than mashing the same button again and again until the enemy is dead and it just slows you to a near-halt. It's very boring.
