Blast, I was hoping for Knuckles' Chaotix, but Sonic CD and Sonic the Fighters will more than make up for that. ^^ Must... repair... 32X...

I will import PS2 version of Gems Collection. Removing SoR series and Bonanza Bros is the worst thing Sega of America did to the collection... Still don?t understand why Chaotix and SegaSonic aren?t on the collection, even with some Chaotix art is in the game(check on the link, I take take screen from official Gems Collection Japanese site): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v29/feli...ems_chaotix.jpg

Well... if they aren?t the collection... maybe a "Sonic Diamond Collection" =P

There is only chaotix artwork because they were in Sonic heroes, unfortunatly. They are to lazy to write a decient 32x emulator.

Meh :( I'll get it, just solely for Sonic R, Sonic CD and Sonic Championship. I still like my idea for this game where Sonic rams gems up his ass.

You have a copy of Gems Collection neh, Rika? It have Mighty?s artwork?

I read in some sites and forums that creator of Mighty?s design leaved from SEGA and get the rights with him, making impossible to re-release Chaotix and SegaSonic Arcade. I personally don?t believe so much, because Mighty still appears on the Archie Comics (ugh! =P)

I've very that they took out SOR. That's probabbly one of my favorite games...period (although SOR 2 wasn't that great and SOR 3 was just bad IMO).

...yeah, but what's the point? Will they ever use it again? No. Same reason why they didn't write a CD emulator, and ported the PC version. Also-the 32x's structure is insanely complex.

Twin 23 MHz Hitachi SH2 32-bit RISC CPUs make it nearly as difficult as the Saturn to emulate, especially because of the screwy boot ROM, which really only seemed to work half the time. (Not as processor-intensive as the Saturn, obvoiusly, but difficult to write)

Not to mention that they would probably need to rewrite their genesis emulator, to work with the 32X BIOS, which they all wouldn't do anyways, because (a) the Japanese hated everything to do with the 32x, and (b) they would do all this work for a game that maybe 5000 people bought. It's not worth it. They're not lazy, they have a timeline, and they need to think things through, they can't just rush into it.

Nonetheless, I will not be buying this anyways, as sega was too stupid to not publish it on PS2. Not that I have a PS2, but it's a severely bad marketing desicion on their part, and, seeing as how the GC, with the best software on the market, is dying horribly, I don't plan on buying one of those anytime soon, either.

Personally, I don't really care about the games that won't be in the US version since I'd never play them anyway. It's a shame Chaotix won't be in this one, but seeing that the only game on there that I have played is Sonic CD, it's still a must-buy for me.
