The Ancient ones

Alright this is just a theory but, In Sonic 3 and knuckles the whole story of Robotnik causing a giant threat to Angel Island and stealing the Master Emerald etc. Was predicted by the Ancient Echindas of the Island think about it.

- In Hidden Palace the area where you fight Knuckles (when your Sonic or Tails abviously) the picture in the background shows a Giant Person (or machine maybe) holding the master emerald, or it could be a super emerald of some sort because it is smaller then it should be. The Giant looks alot like Robotnik in it. Very weird. And then you see a Echinda or other animal standing up to it and it looks like it is at its Super or Hyper Stage. So basically they knew about it all.
- And the Sky Sanctuary, I mean all it is, is a floating city (well 1/4 of a city left and its still survived. And then the second Sonic beats Metal Sonic and gets to the top of the Sanctuary the whole place collapses and falls apart. And I read in this article about the same theory that the Ancient Echindas where holding the Sanctuary up so Sonic could get to the Escaping Death Egg.

It all makes sense really :P

But if they predicted that was it before or after the chaos beast destroyed like 99.9% of them, furthermore if it was before wouldnt teh ancient ancients have predicted chaos?

Theory:
They did, If you play Sonics version of SonAd it shows Chaos destroying skyscrappers this is after he destroyed most of the Echidnas and the survivors carved the mural to show that he will come again. I think that's why Tikal was sealed in the Master Emerald, to tell others how to defeat Chaos.

yes that's a very good point perhaps that's y tikal was sealed in the master emrald but im not sure

It would explain why she's still young and why shes just a floating ball. since shes been is the emerald for centuries she is one with the chaos energy. kinda like how sonic turns super only Tikal is more powerful.
