    Super Sonic part1: The Beginning
    Pallate needs a little work. The look I want to achive is , well, I 'll put some baackground to boot.

    Eggman builds his Death Egg in space. During construction, he fires his cannon(in development) at Emerald Hill zone. Sonic sees this and becomes really pissed. He uses the chaos Emeralds to become super Sonic. However, Tails does not join him. He died battleing Eggman in Sonic 1 in a "crushing defeat" :) *nuked* Instead, Foamy decides to join him instead, because he was origionatted from Tails's DNA, so he belives that he should help sonic. *healed by Foamy, I hope*Also, Eggman used the power of the Hellfire emeralds to increase the power of his creation, making it so Sonic is not fully invincable.Sonic and Foamy must collect the Hellfire Emeralds, and stop Eggman from completeing and destroying the whole world!

    So there you have it. :P

    I got the Death hill Pallate done! :D
    I know, XFox 'll kill me, but that is what happens! Eggman kills Tails in Sonic 1 in my hack series!

    Sonic Eclipse 2, Return of the Hidden Palace, Unnamed Sonic 2 Hack
    Might I suggest replacing Metal Sonic boss in DEZ with an XFox sprite? I just think that would be cool where XFox shows up and attempts to beat the crap out of Sonic for alowing Tails to die. Of course chances are that XFox will die too but...

    (XFox voice your opinion 'cause I might do this in my hack.)

    Wouldn't it be possible if you decompressed the sprites then edited them in TLP, then recompressed them and put them bak in the rom. Then just change the pointers to the art? (experienced hackers, please confirm)

    You can through Hex Editing, but I don't know any other way....

    Everyone is speaking about hex editing as if its some highly complex or alien like thing. Its just simply a way to modify a file. Maybe you can find a small program to decompress the art. But still, its actions may still be hex operations when it comes down to it. Doing things in hex may be a huge and tiring task, but there's plenty of automated programs with menus and GUIs that do it for you don't forget. Do you think we write programs in hex? No, we'd sooner write a program to do stuff for us and then work from that.
