    Hey, guys. Lostgame here.

Well, this is a combination of many things, for the mac part, it's a combination of Logan's code and mine, a bizzare hybrid-but here are the facts.

    System requirements:

I've tested it and guarantee it to work on the following:

    iBook G3 900 Mhz, 384 MB RAM, 10.4.6
    Mac Mini G4, 1.25 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, 10.4.6
iMac G4 (round base), 800 Mhz, 256 MB RAM, 10.3.9 (slightly laggy at times)

So, it seems to work on a variety of hardware, which is good.

If you have questions regarding compiling this from the official source, don't look at me, I'll just hand you mine. =P

This works with LAN netplay with other macs and windows.

I have not yet tested online netplay. I would appreciate comments in that area, though I am sure it will be fine.

    Thanks, guys.

Looks like you're missing some of the required framework. You should get it.

I got it working now. I had to fool around with my ATI OpenGL settings and manually change some of the settings in the config file.

Found the linux version, I'm working on installing it now.

EDIT: Don't get too excited over the linux version, its taking along time to install on my machine, its stuck here:

    Code (Text):
    1. Looking for WADs in: SRB2WADDIR,.,/usr/local/games/srb2,/usr/games/srb2,HOME
EDIT2: Right, the installer they give is messed up, just download http://lawarias.game-server.cc/Alam_GBC/srb2/SRB2108I.zip, unzip it, cd into src and type "make LINUX=1 SDL=1 PROFILEMODE=1". It will give you a mess of warnings, but as long as the compile doesn't error, you should be good.

Ooh cool Nic! I remember you talking about working on this. I can't really talk about how it plays, because I don't even have a Mac. But anyway, judging on how everyone is taking it, it must be good. Keep on Fackin'!

Universal binary as soon as I can get xCode 2.3 installed.

EDIT: Wow. More than 800 downloads already.

Works pretty well on my Mac - surprising really, since many of today's modern Mac games run sluggishly on it :(

There are some unusual effects though. When loading a level or level end screen, the screen breaks up into flickering lines - but this effect disappears after a couple of seconds. I assume my graphics card is not rendering the fade properly? Also, there are 'lag bursts' whenever I'm in a large open area with lots of detail.

The Mac I tried this on was an iMac (CRT and CPU in same case) with a 500MHz PowerPC G3 and 640MB SDRAM.

Nah, that's just the way OpenGL on SRB2 is, sorry.

Talk to AJ about that, he's the one who doesn't want to use OGL, lol

But thanks. And 500 Mhz? And it ran well? That's amazing.

    Thanks, man.
