Sonics newest friend topic!

Aaaahhh, sadly you're a bit late Hez. Sonic Team already showed Sonic's newest "friend".
It's a female raccoon.

 

They should have brought back Ray if they were going to use that type of character.

 

God damn it, they're always stealing my furries. Raccoons, rabbits... argh. I had a rabbit design down before Advance 2, and then, boom Cream. =P

Sonic's newest friend is a sweet natured fox named Miles Prower. Everybody calls him "Tails" because of his two special tails that he has. With these Tails, he can twirl them up like a helicopter and fly away to catch Sonic!

That Ad is either a hoax or a badly made mockup, I really don't think it's an official ad. Just by glancing at it I can see that the anti aliasing is inconsistent on the image. This Raccoon's eyes don't look the same around the edges, and the logo text looks suspicious as well. Plus, the compass logo looks an awful lot like the Seattle Mariners' insignia.

EDIT: I forgot to say it before, but I think that the Raccoon is an edit of Cream. Look at the shape of her head.

 

It looks like they just altered Cream's color scheme and clothes, shortened her ears, threw a tail on her, and thought "OK! New character's done!" I seriously hope they can come up with something better.

 

It better be fake otherwise I'm going to SEGA HQ and kicking the shit out of some people. :P
