That's fantastic. I agree 100%. Additionally, the idea of glitchy pixelization that is part of that fashion you linked to is something Sonic hasn't really utilized at all, but would totally work with both Classic and Modern aesthetic and I would love to see it applied in the future. Kind of a punk-esque element that really jives well with either era.
Oh that's true, I thought the same thing actually. The commercial from Drop Dead, which I adore, approached it similarly. I would say it's got a real vaporwave look.
