I love the entire multiple dimensions idea... Sorta reminds me of what Paper Mario 2 and Wario Land Virtual Boy did. And yes, that Final Fall area looks amazing,

From what I can gather, Taxman was originally supposed to deliver us a new release in December 2004. A year has passed and not a word of it has been heard since. A shame really.

 

Man, with the greatness displayed by these fan games, I'm definitely stickin to hacking instead of designing from scratch.

This game is lookin' good, so far. To me, this'll probably be the best thing since Retro Sonic.

I recently downloaded a version of this fangame off your site (It's really old). It was a very fun game I must say, and all of these pics look like 1000 times better than that did though, and that version itself was very impressive. I really can't wait for a more current demo.

I've just gone and had a look at that engine, And I must say, it is AMAZING. It's not that hard to create a Good engine with proper Coding language, but to achieve one with MMF and make it feel more fluid than the official games themselves is quite an achievement.

what's it coded in? Please tell me it isn't Multimedia Fusion/Gamemaker/etc. simply because using such a slow engine like that would be a waste of your art.

 

Aw man I was really hoping it wasn't, there need to be more C++ fangames. The physics in those gamemaker type programs always feel off and unenjoyable to me.
