    It's the game's codename and was first seen in the metadata for the reveal trailer. My theory's that it's named after Josh Miller who's the writer for Sonic 3, but that's just speculation on my part.

    + - I guess Sonic is cutscene only then…that’s a shame, would’ve been great to see them reinterpret the fight, but I guess you can’t make radically changes without losing the SA2 homage. 22 main acts though? How does that work out?

    That would mean there's still six acts unaccounted for. Do the stages all have an act 3 or something?

    + - so I was under the impression that each zone we'd seen had 2 acts. We have The ARK, Radical Highway, Rail Canyon, Kingdom Valley, Sunset Heights and Chaos Island. If that's all there is zone wise they must have about 3 acts each instead of 2. Kinda upset there's not going to be a level based on The last way.

    + - Boss-wise, it looks like there could be as many as 6, as Mephiles and Black Doom both have two separate sets of files listed with different names. Perhaps we'll face each of them more than once in different forms - either that, or each of their fights will be a multi-phase affair with a transformation into a different form halfway through.

    + - 2 phases of Mephiles might explain how Shadow goes from Kingdom Valley to Dusty Desert. Just have Mephiles in his clone state and then do some warping stuff when he goes into his crystal state.

    I just want them to experiment with different artstyles going forwards! Sonic is popular enough that he'll sell well no matter what artstyle they choose so they might as well shake things up every now and then

    On one hand, I'm glad that they're willing to admit that Gens story really wasn't anything special. On the other hand, seeing them also admit it wasn't very difficult is making me nervous. The last time they wanted to correct the "Too easy" issue many people had lead to one of the biggest difficulty spikes I've ever seen in my entire life. Very glad they patched it, I hope they learned from it. It doesn't help I'm also getting flashbacks to Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind. After beating Yozora on Critical I swore that I would never play that game again. And that's a very big jump (or in this case, fall) from considering it my favorite game in the franchise pre DLC.

    Usually dlc content is made tougher because it is aimed at diehards who already beat the game, and it's not trying to be newcomer friendly.

    So far the game seems on the easy/average side of things. Wouldn't say it's any more difficult than base Gens, and i think new players will have an easier time with the more precise controls this time around. Even if it ramps up in the end, I can't see it reaching a frustrating degree of difficulty.
