Well, if it's a Japanese thing...it's usually "Thing 'Cross' Thing".

The 'X' does get pronounced in stuff like that.

Regarding the poster, this is probably the first time I've ever got this feeling. It looks fan made, that's the vibe I'm getting and it's probably because of how...earnest it looks.

 

This radiates so much 2000s energy. You can definitely tell how passionate Sega are about this particular project.

I don't expect the final product to be amazing as pure the usual with Sonic games, but the marketing has certainly been on point this time around.

 

Oh, yeah… I must have temporarily got it confused with Hunter X Hunter (I was a few drinks deep lol). If you head back a few pages, I was arguing for Sonic CROSS Shadow. Either way, Sonic EKS Shadow isn’t how I imagined this being said.

Also, it's so great that for once SEGA's not using Green Hill for promotional material for Sonic Generations. Great seeing Speed Highway there.

 

GPU minimum requirement on PC got slightly raised from a GT 730 to a GTX 550 Ti. And it's now noted that will only get you 30 FPS 720p. The rest of the minimum specs remain the same. Meanwhile, recommended specs were lowered (aside from the RAM, that got raised from 8 GB to 12). But the CPU was lowered from a Core i7-6700k to a Core i7-2600, and the GPU from a GTX 970 with 4 GB of VRAM to a GTX 780 with 3 GB of RAM. Seems like they've been doing a bit of optimization.

Looks like the Time Eater's other half is Black Doom's attempt at an ARK? Maybe a second go of the Black Comet? Can't tell if it's meant to be the final level or final boss but it's gotta be one of those things. Intriguing that it seemingly has Chaos 6-style tentacles coming out of it too.

 

I can't believe they made the Time Eater actually look threatening

This art is actually kinda making me wish Generations had a real story.

As others have said, this makes the Time Eater look soooo cool.

Here's hoping the Shadow Generations plot picks up the slack.
