Hashimoto could very well be the best thing that's happened to Sonic for years.

 

I'll be damned, I never noticed this.

 

Anyways, the speculation now is, how can Sonic Unleashed have any sort of connection with Windows Live? Downloadable avatars? Themes? WHAT?!

 

I wonder if we'll get the demo this week.

 

I'd say next week at the earliest. Unleashed's release date is pretty close to when '06's was, and that demo was up by October 20 (though I don't remember the exact date).

 

One real quick nit-pick...in the Werehog stage, at one point it says "1 Hits Combo". First off...grammatically incorrect. Secondly, when is one hit ever a combo?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to picking this up for the Wii. Now I just need to finish Sonic and the Secret Rings...grr...

 

Well, combo implies 2 being strung together. SO maybe it's 1 combo of 2 hits.

Either way it sounds odd. When I was in junior high, I made a breakout style game and everytime you hit more than 1 brick, it'd start a combo, and for a while I had it say "1 combo" before deciding that "2 hit combo" sounded better.

No excuse for "hits", though.

 

It's a laziness issue. It would be hits(plural) with any number but one, so I suppose they just hope you don't notice. But I've seen stuff like that in games before, I guess it's easier than making a separate graphic for 'hit' and 'hits' when the only time you'd see 'hit' is if you hit someone just once.

 

Or maybe it's debug stuff? See, normally you shouldn't see a "1" in that sense at all, otherwise it isn't a combo =P

 

Actually there shouldn't be an s there at all. 4 hit combo sounds a lot better than 4 hits combo IMO

You're right. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I suggested laziness. I think this is a case of good old fashion engrish.
