According the big red bar on TSSZ News, the Chun-Nan Adventure Pack is now on the EU Playstation Network.

 

WHAT? That means that America might get it today too.

It doesn't look like the US Playstation Store got any Sonic Unleashed DLC today.

So does each branch of Sega have to pay Sony separately (per region) to host their DLC?

Besides, weren't Japanese and European fans more likely to get the PS3 version anyway (to be fair, the 360 version came out first here, and it seems to me like most US Sonic fans own 360s, if they own a "next gen" console to begin with)? Maybe it's a priority issue, and PS3 owners here will get it sooner or later.

 

Sonic Unleashed has 20 screen shots on the XBL marketplace, but I don't recognize number 8 or 9. They seem to take place much deeper inside the citadel than Sonic ever goes.

 

Me neither, it was the homing attack, the jump button and 50 other things being the same button that gave me trouble.

 

Probably scrapped material or future DLC. I'll look at 'em when I get home.

 

All the screenshots are older pictures of the game (Noticable by the HUD and the model in general actually). Mazuri went over a lot of overhauls it seems, as the areas in the beta are really different then the final

 

Even so, we'll get to see more of the level when the Muzuri pack is released.

I wonder if they're going to release anything else when they're done with level packs. Probably not, but if the next main series game isn't going to be out until the 20th anniversary (which I see as very possible) they might feel the need to tide us over with something other than Wii spinoffs.

I kind of wonder if Sonic's even going to be at E3, outside of Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics.

 

Good question.
For me an E3 without Sonic it would be weird, especially considering that no titles were announced lately (and that it is very rare to have a year without a new Sonic game).
At least I would expect the 3rd Rush at E3 this year, or a rush styled Sonic which isn't part of the Rush series (in case Sega wants to try something different)


Also, guesses for the next pack? I say Mazuri. I would also like to play Savannah Citadel again, since it became too easy after finishing the game.

 

Sonic roms on your iPhone will be this years sega sonic game.

 

Actually, I don't think Sonic was at E3 2007 outside of Mario & Sonic Olympics.

Unless they featured Sonic Rush Adventure or something.

Act 2 Day Hard Mode.

Yeah, there's one that'll piss people off.

 

I think Rooftop Run Act 2 Hard Mode would piss more people off.

 

^Actually I enjoyed Rooftop Run Act 2-2 more than the original. It's pretty fucking evil though.

Yeah, I'll take a Mazuri 3-2. 2-2 would just be a shot to the balls.

By the way, PS3 people, since I don't have the game rented out anymore, any notable changes with the last update? Also, this could mean that the DLC packs will be hitting within the next week or two in the U.S.
