This, just give him a local food, he doesn't even have to enjoy it. I gave him Canned Mohn, he swore at me, then gave me the tape.

"Sonic, I hate you so fucking much for giving me this... this... THING, that I'm going to give you this tape for being such a good friend!"

    Yeah, that sounds about right.

Sigh... I need about 10 or so sun medals to open up Adabat daytime, and I have no I idea where to start. Every main daytime level I know I've either got them all, or I can't find them. I really don't want to get into the Werehog levels, just Adabat. Is there something easy I can do to get a lot of sun medals? Also, how do you get to all of Holoska's daytime acts? I only got the main and the level that cycles through different obstacles with you running over he water and having to boost constantly. Where is the other one?

Those are the only daytime acts in Holoska. Only a few areas have 3 daytime Sonic acts (Adabat and Chun-nan come to mind).

I wish I could help you medal-wise, but I already had enough when I got to Adabat. Perhaps you should snoop around previous Werehog stages where you haven't yet got too many medals. They're not too hard to find, if you keep an eye open.

It's okay. I'll try around the hubs a bit and like you said, the optional werehog levels. Hopefully I can find enough. I still haven't entered a few optional daytime levels either.

Unfortunately (or fotunately, depends on if you like the Werehog or not), the night levels have more sun medals than moon medals, and vise versa. I was short by like 18 or so when I got to Adabat, but I enjoyed going back and getting more. You can blaze through those earlier night stages if you've leveled up enough (and at the point you're at, you probably are).

    I suck!!

    ...

I shall persevere.. Can't have a £20 game with only 3 levels in it!!!

That's great! You are lucky to go to a school where Sonic is respected. At mine, he is ridiculed. "All you do is run." They prefer Call of Duty. I wish I had someone to play Unleashed with. Anyway, I'll try looking for those medals soon. How many sun and moon medals do I have to have to enter the level after Adabat? I believe that is Eggmanland right?

To those looking for the video 'Monster on Ice' (seeing as a few people as struggling to find it) is in Empire City Act 1 Day. In the transition in 2d, you go down a zipwire, round a loop, and thrown into the air. You will notice below you, a missle bot, and some glass with springs below. Stomp mid air on the glass, and hit the springs. You will fly up, and dash through the trick rings. You will come to some platforms, which need to be lightdashed to progress through. IIRC, the tape is ABOVE the platform just after the rings which you need to light dash through. You need to either boost air dash and hope for the best, or attempt to slow down after lightdashing in order to get it. Bear in mind, there is no way to go back and try again if you fail without killing yourself and going back to this point, so be careful.

EDIT - People aren't having trouble finding it, I just can't read properly. But for those who don't have it - there you go :P

Missed that tape. Thanks for that, Ell678

Also, those 3 trick rings would greatly help towards an S rank for that stage

I noticed a lot of what what present in the trailers is absent from the final version. What is shown in Shamar night (obelisk smashing, platforming over bottomless pits) is absolutely gone. The spring surrounded by spikes as you fall down on it is not surrounded by spikes anymore I believe. The Egg Fighters sometimes shown in the Spagonia trailer looked lower poly, differently colored, and more like the Wii version too from what I have seen. Why do you guys think an entire level and its mechanics (Shamar Night) were dropped? Has anyone else noticed any changes, particularly drastic?

Yeah, In the Adabat trailer one of the springs you have to hit is surrounded by spikes, this isn't present in the final version. Also in that area where you get shot upwards by several hoops, in the trailer there are rows of three. I also noticed that at the end of Shamar night there is a door. I'm not sure how to open it but you can sort of see whats behind it from the corners.

Perhaps the other version of Shamar still exists beyond that door?
Just a question: Youtube is giving me some trouble. The videos don't play, and there is no play button! What should I do... I hope it fixes itself eventually. EDIT: It did.

I realize that's the box art he uses, but the discussion of the hub worlds sounds more like the experience in the 360 version. Rather surprised at his negativity.

    You're suprised?
You are talking about the game that bashsed MGS4 to hell and back again. :P

I thought he was overly harsh, critisizing basic sonic mechanics such as the lives system, he complains about having to start the level again if you loose all your lives, imagie if he played the older games where you had to start the whole game again O.o
