Yeah. After the running on water part, you'll reach part with another dragon. Homing attack off the enemy there then light speed dash on the trail of rings to run on this dragon. It'll send you into a vault spring (the three springs that don't send you very high.) Instead of hitting the one behind it, run back toward the dragon, jump and homing attack to hit a secret spring. You'll run on the water, which will take you to a tower with a rocket to the next dragon. It's just a shortcut.

Is cray castle the only extra level file found? if so that either means only one DLC level is planned or it's a scrapped zone, I don't see why they would leave cray data in for dlc then if another level was made for dlc it would have missing files or something related.

How was the sonic '06 DLC stored? already on the disc and just download an unlock key?

I couldn't get much past the "running on water" part. I'll go check it out. This kind of thing is better to figure out playing.

EDIT: Oh! I see it! Haha! I would never figure it out myself! I wasn't much sure I was in the right place, since from what you said I thought the dragon was right after the water section. So I thought that those Zelda-Windwaker-Boats-Drangon-Like was the dragon you were talking about. I loose about 10 lives now! Haha! So I just did my regular path, and when I reached the vault spring I homming-attacked left, in hopes of backtracking the dragon. But instead, the homming-attack sent me just to the spring! Yay!

The only hidden spring I knew in Dragon Road was the one from the begining, hidden inside the green bamboo crate, to the right.

How did you found this one out GeneHF?

Yes. It was already inside the disk. The Hard Missions in Sonic 06 were discovered ways before the game was released. It was discovered in the files of the DEMO version.

Also, didn't anyone found strange how the compendium says "People you met in Eggmanland and more", since, until now, the only "more" available was Wentos? Now we know there are more people, as you can see in the 3D models files.

What are the files the normal levels have?

Cray Castle has three files, one day and two night. What do the other levels have?

Also, a cray is a slow, unwieldy trading vessel, in case anyone's curious.

If anyone has a modded 360, I wonder if they could rearrange the level filenames to have the Cray Castle stages accessible as Windmill Isle or something, recompile and burn the disc and give us some video.

Ninja Edit: Disregard this, most of my issues with the visuals have been fixed, and the PS3 version seems about equal.

    Double Edit: "Sho-hog-ken". Cute.

Triple Edit: The game itself is fantastic. I even find the werehog fun, and I LOVE exploring for medals. But that's just me.

From stills I have seen the visuals lack a little everywhere, but the game makes up for it because you can see like 2 miles ahead and move at a billion meters a second.

BTW how is the ps3 framerate? does it keep going up and down like a yoyo?

After picking up the game again a few nights ago I can agree with this for the warehog stages. Though the daytime stages kinda force you to go-go-go with dash panels every other step of the way and the level design being unforgiving if you happen to miss something along the way.

Strange. I got to Mazuri and the game just looks..better.

Maybe some of the hubs just don't look as good as the others, so my initial reaction was sour. No idea. Kinda waiting for someone with both the 360 and PS3 versions to give us the skinny. Framerate seems to be about the same between both versions, from what I hear (aka: Hit and miss, variably). Fixed the brightness issue, too (just cranked up the game's brightness setting). PS3 version looks great so far, I jumped the gun earlier.

Also the Sky Chase music is just perfect.

One Sun Metal away from having all 400 (yeah, I don't get anything for it but the completion is more than enough.) Anyone mind helping me out with it? I honestly have looked over the level all over the place and can't find the medal. The level in question is Chun-nan Act 1 at night time. I've flipped the level upside down and have not been able to find it at all.

Of course, the moment I ask for help, I find all three of them. Hurr ;)

Well, a benefit for you! You get the list of all the Sun and Moon Medals in Chun-nan Night:

-Behind you at the start. (Sun 1)
-In Hidden Cave, not long after first medal. (Sun 2)
-In House, after second medal. (Sun 3)
-To the right of the red door, after pulling the level. (Sun 4)
-To the left of the red door, near the water and against the cliff. (Sun 5)
-Right side of the hut after clearing out the area behind the rocks of the swarm of enemies. (Moon 1)
-On the exterior left side of the hut before the first electric robot enemy. (Sun 6)
-Inside this same hut. (Sun 7)
-Jump from crate to crate over the water infront of the waterfall. (Moon 2)
-After clearing the first pagoda and pole vaulting to the next one, hang on the ledge. Drop down to get it. This one may cause death. (Moon 3)
-Behind an electric enemy after being pole vaulted passed a one up. There's a moon medal here too. (Sun 8; Moon 4)
-In the mouth of the dragon. Grab the yellow bar on the roof of the pagoda after the above to reach the dragon's back. There's a CD here too. (Moon 5)
-When at the midboss area, go to the far end and jump on the crate in the water. Quickly grab the pole and vault up to the platform. It'll be next to a video tape (Sun 9)
-On the right side of the goal ring. Take a dashing jump and then a double jump to reach the platform. A moon medal is here too. (Sun 10, Moon 6)

    You're welcome.

Wait: The PS3 version is worse? What do I have to do to make it look good?

    !O_O!

So these are the sun/moon medals left for me then ;)

Since you started it out, lets make a guide with all information possible? I started writing all the game information, like the Professor's hints, character's descriptions found in the compendium, the title of the videos... etc... this kind of thing.

I remember that a little. DLC maybe? Like "Play as Sonic at Night"? I would DL it if it was the case.
Also, I would love to see a downloadable content like "Play Sonic the Hedgehog stages in reverse mode". I would definitely download/buy it! I have a dream of playing Dragon Road backwards, from the end to the begining. I would love to play every of Sonic levels from the end to the begining really. It would be a different and cool challange for me, since it would give the game variety, and it is not that hard to do.

No thanks. All I really need now achievement wise are the hot dog mission for every continent aside from Apotos, Eggmanland and Holaska.

However, I would love to know the location of some unlockables. I'm missing the Night Time Boss music, a video tape, and four artbooks. I didn't keep a good log of their locations, so I can't really post it up. However, I do plan on eventually renting the PS3 version, just to give it a spin.

I have 88/68 in Wii Unleashed. I'm trying to find Moon Medal #69 so I can open up tons of doors and such things.

I have S ranks on the main daytime levels and medals on all the daytime challenges I've unlocked thus far...and I checked back in the unlocked Gaia Gate doors and it doesn't appear that I missed any items. Did I forget to break open an item box somewhere along the line in the main levels that could have contained a secret mission?

You aparrently get Moon Medal #69 by finding a certain amount of item boxes. Thats what I'm doing right now as I have 100 Sun Medals and 68 Moon Medals. The secret documents are good for finding item boxes. Also, each item you don't have says "Continent X Night/Day" when highlighted so you at least have some idea where they are.

Can anyone on this forum confirm that this is how you get this moon medal? Although, to be honest, im enjoying searching for item boxes anyway.

Yeah, that's how you get it. I had little trouble getting that 69th medal.

The last moon medal, on the other hand... That requires the player to find all of the damn items in the game. I'm missing 20 of them, and no matter how much I search through the stages and missions back and forth, I can't find them for the life of me. I'm just going to wait until a guide shows up on GameFAQs.
