The cutscenes are skippable. On the 360/PS3 they are, anyway.

I haven't got fully into Secret Rings, but I don't like it at the start. I understand you have to earn decent controls or something like that, but the jumping physics are way too awkward.

Also, Unleashed is at least worth a rent. Werehog is better than all the other non speed type gameplay with the exception of Tails.

no. I'm a total n00b at that stuff but i want to learn
I was gonna get the PS3 version at Gamestop today for $20, but as I said before my brother is a video game prostitute and a fatty. And tomorrow he's having a football orgy with his friends. Whatevar, I'll be with my girlfriend who is probably the coolest girl evar. She has a Genesis courtesy her older brother and she can whoop me in Street Fighter II Championship Edition. I think she has Sonic CD, and she has Sonic 3. Strangely enough, she has four copies of Sonic 2. Well, awesome*4=4 Sonic 2 carts. And she's pretty good at Sonic, too.

I'm not really into sports games. Like, at all. But college football is excellent. I wasn't trying to make it sound like I hated it. I went to a Nebraska game last weekend. That last interception went right fucking to the other team...

I know it! And she's beautiful too! Massive lulz.

I never thought they existed before the release of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It's a really rare phenomenon. I'd marry this girl if I could.

And as an added bonus, she listens to good music! Beatles! Pink Floyd! Fuck YES!

Shit, if I found a girl who liked Classic Sonic, Heavy Metal, and Mary Jane as much as I do, well that's the thing, I wouldn't know WHAT the fuck to do. I'd be dumbfounded. Speechless. Sadly I don't think there is even a single person on this planet besides myself who simultaneously loves these three things. It's be a real interesting find....

If I were to find a girl like this I probably wouldn't be able to do it in the southeast US.

Someday I'll make it to Europe, where people can take a joke and still like the things I'm into. I was obviously born in the wrong country.

I wouldn't recommend buying it. I got it as a Christmas present and it's been collecting dust ever since (360 version, note).

It's not that it's BAD... well, yes, it IS bad, but it's decidedly playable nonetheless. I'd rent it to see if it's your cup of tea, and not much more than that.

I only have a Wii, so I only have the Wii version, and I liked it a lot. I liked the Werehog way more than I expected. I'm eager to try the PS3 version, but I have one question: are there multiple Werehog levels per continent, or just one for each?

And one last thing: I thought the soundtrack was incredible.

360/PS3 version has one full Hedgehog and one full Werehog stage per continent. Then there are several shorter, "gimmicky" levels too. And there's always greater amount of day stages than night stages. Without downloads, I'm pretty sure there's only one night stage in Spagonia (not counting missions).

You only have to do 1 Werehog stage per continent. There are also extra Werehog stages in around half the continents. (and every continent has at least 1 extra normal Sonic level)

    EDIT: beaten.

Yeah, the shorter day stages are usually all pretty good. A couple are on the more annoying side, though.

Annoying in the way you'll lose many lives during your first run in some of them. The 360/PS3 version is a lot harder than the Wii/PS2 one, and you won't complete a good quarter of the stages during your first run. And the DLC stages are even harder, but I strongly suggest to download them if you can, because I personally enjoyed them a lot, and some are my favorite stages in the game.
