Sonic Unleashed Mobile

I think it looks awesome, and I wish it was an iPhone game, but it's pretty clear that that isn't the case.

 

Tried three different versions, all spitting out the same message.

 

Iphone app's are not java files plus I would imagne stuff like this would run much smoother, it's like making a 360 game but limiting the framerate to 15 fps and only using 1/8th the ram or something if this WAS an iphone game.

What is best to expect is the touchscreen version we see here but much smoother, maybe recoded or slightly more advanced with the spare power after a port over. So far it looks like a shit fangame.

 

Alright, after using the limited debugger in KEmulator Lite and running the JAR through a decompiler, I've found the graphics... in a serialized format
The player resources for daytime are in the file named 7 and the resources for nighttime are in 7.1

However I am at a loss for a means of decrypting these files. Damn you Java!

EDIT: After a bit of research I found out that Gameloft created their own graphic format for use in games... and nobody knows how to read it. Fuck.

 

Anyone got any views on this, is it good? I downloaded a version for my phone but haven't had chance to install or play it yet...

 

Depends on your standards for mobile games and your standards for Sonic games.

Don't expect 1:1 Genesis physics or music or anything else and I guess it's okay?

Ok, I have quite an old phone, a Nokia N-Gage, and I downloaded a version that said it was compatible with it, but it doesn't work (installs, then says installation complete, then says, removing, then says applications error or something) does anyone else here have and N-Gage and have any version of this game working on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am totally desperate to play this!

Only 3 pics were sonic related the rest was blank or has logos of other games.

Damn the sprites are small. but they look like edited advance sprites. could you rip warehog?

 

I couldn't find it, nor Mazuri. Maybe they are on other file I'll search for them later =P.
