Sonic Unleashed Mobile

Wow, that video actually looked pretty nice for a phone game. And now that I've had a better look at it, I can say that Sonic Unleashed Mobile sprite > Sonic Advance 1-3 sprite. Someone get a rip of it ASAP.


SEGA should seriously upscale this game, give it better music and put it on XBLA/PSN/WiiWare. I'd buy it.

Sorry. :P I wasn't really being literal with my request, but I do like that sprite. Even if his Sonic CD-style spring animation is a frame short of being complete.

So I've got KEmulator Lite and the X1 version, but the screen is tiny and only like a corner of the display fits into it.

EDIT: Now the screen's big enough but it's giving me that keypad message. It's like I can't have one without the other.

And....now that I have it running, the controls are fucked up, and it won't let me change the button layout for my GamePad. Up is left, Down is right, and Right jumps. It makes no sense. And Start is Boost. Even the arrows on the keyboard work the same way. What the hell is wrong?

 

What I ended up doing is setting all keys to one button on my gamepad and then just binding the specific keys the game uses.

 

Where did you find an emulator for this? Like a windows emulator.

 

I just googled "KEmulator Lite". The site I got it from listed two versions, one that needs the Java SDK and one that doesn't. I got the one that doesn't need it.

I did not bookmark it or anything.

 

How the fuck is this game out already.

Gameloft doesn't even have a page on their website for Sonic Unleashed and I can't find any solid release date info anywhere outside of Wikipedia's vague "June 2009"

We're playing them in emulators though. There's a site with every version up for download.

Not my original intention, but hey, glad I could help I guess. I should look around too.

 

I will hopefully be buying this when it comes out.

However, is it possible to buy a game if your phone isn't web-enabled. I know some companies just send you one-time-download links by text when you buy the game. (Download links are no use to me without the internet on my phone) What I really need is to buy the .jar file when the game is released, so I can just drag and drop it onto my phone. (I want to get a legit copy)

 

I'm assuming none of those will work for a 8330 Black Berry.

 

Yeah, I don't expect Sonic Unleashed to run on my Storm considering it has no real buttons or Apple's multi-tap magic.

 

My friend's blackberry (not sure what model) was able to play the java sonic 1, the same .jar file I used on my Erricson T303 which is a very simple small and lightweight phone (but also very slow for java). In in doubt download one of the non touchscreen versions and send it to your blackberry to test it.
