Looking forward to discover what game they couldn't include in the book and what character had their name changed.

 

I don't see any Sonic Pocket Adventure.

We're never seeing that game officially again lol

 

I'm guessing it's Pocket Adventure, given it was developed and produced by SNK and has yet to see any re-release.

 

Ian mentioned on Bumblekast that there were a few enemies that Sega didn't have official names for, so he asked if he could name them. I believe he mentioned some unnamed Chaotix enemies.

Honestly my bet is Sonic Chronicles being the unused title

 

iirc Ian clarified some time back that Chronicles is referenced in the book, but I'm British so I won't know for another month :')

 

Yes, Kyle asked him if the forbidden game "rhymes with Sonic Schmonicles", and he said "no, that one is listed".

 

I don't see why they wouldn't list Chronic Sonicles.

 

Between being set X years later, an RPG, and made by Bioware and not Sega, it's easy to forget it exists.

 

Because Ian said they could not include some game. The first guess of almost everyone was Chronicles.

I think we should have a dedicated topic to this book because... Oh boy, there's are some things in here which I wonder if border on fan fiction over actual canon/facts.

First of all to put the earlier queries to bed, Chronicles is not only mentioned, there are screenshots and a few character bios on the different species.


But are are the doozies.

Infinite is dead.

I've got a copy on order direct from the suppliers, if anything else it just looks like a nice thing to sit on the shelf!
