Basic idea, he fires missiles at Sonic when he sees him on his level. Only 1 on-screen. When the missile goes off-screen, he fires another if Sonic's still eye level, if not, he goes about his business. Sneaky trick, if he doesn't fire all his missiles before you bopp him, the missiles explode and harm Sonic. Feel free to tinker with the sprites as long as you want, it was only a 5 minute job, anyway.
Since I know I've had complaints about the splash screen. This is a concept of a new one. Sort of based off Sonic 4 and what is already used in the game. Any suggestions? Or is the old one fine?
While I like the coloured titlecard better than the greyscale one, the text's gradient looks a bit odd to me.
It was hashed together in 10 minutes so I spent next to no time on the gradient. I redid the text and it has a dithering effect and sharper corners now. As of now... 3 - Black and White 4 - Colors I like the black and white one a bit more myself. but I also like the colored one :\
Mr. Hez... How about a mole badnik? He could tunnel up ahead of Sonic and throw bombs in his path until you bop the fucker on the head.
Not a bad idea actually. I think we should have a buzz bomber which instead of shooting projectiles shoots mini Buzzers that try and attack Sonic.
Nanobombers, love it! And the nanos could drain you one ring at a time, which would make the bastards particularly evil at the beginning of a level.
What they would look like in game. I cannot decide for the life of me. Also, Im drawing up a mother buzzbomber and mini ones as we speak. Genius idea =P
