One time i was playing sonic the fast revelation by Jamie Bailey, and thought to myself: why not remaster this game, and make it better?
So I open clickteam fusion, open the .gam file, and...

the monitor, springs, and insta-sheild sprites were taken from the "canceled sequel levels" part of the extras menu.

So far, the first three zones (Green Hil, Millenium, and Emerald Hill) are fully finished and playable.

Most of the events have been changed to the point where it's bordering on a remake - for example, Sonic now uses the platform movement object extension instead of the built-in movement, and real scrolling has been added.

There are extremely minor level design changes only where necessary as I want to keep it as faithful as possible. The changes are usually only made to inescapable spike pits.

Enemies have been added to Green Hill and Millenium Zones: Motobug from Sonic 1 and Batbot from Sonic 3.

Higher quality music was added and it uses the original version of the songs instead of MIDI versions.

I've also implemented the spindash and rolling, but with the Sonic 1 speed cap to avoid breaking the level design too much.

It’s super cool to see older fangames brought back into the spotlight. I’m not familiar with Fast Revolution but I’ve played a little of Jamie Bailey’s other sonic fan game. I’ll be eagerly following this project. Good luck and take your time :)

Great seeing someone tackle this again!
I did a fair bit of work on the concept myself, but due to IRL issues and a PC blowing up, I wasn't able to continue.
My original goal was to have it be an unlockable for my Time Attacked remake.

    Look forward to seeing more!

Thank you! i was kinda hoping you would show up here, you kinda inspired me lol

By the way, I'm assuming you had the source code for Sonic Time Attacked, right? I asked Mr. Bailey for it but he said his old computer's keyboard doesn't work. So could you upload it?

It would be nice to see this finally get done. The original game is too old to be played seriously anymore.

Funny thing about that... While he did send me the source, it was after I'd done most of the levels by eye. You can actually see some of the by-eye screenshot rips I did for the level assets and sprites on my DeviantArt.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the file right now, but I'll let you know if I do.
