    OK, instead of spamming up the screen shot and video thread, I think I'll bump the actual topic.

    Bigger Sonic (by 25%) on the title screen, and I put S2's background back in for now.

    Current options menu... something better planned for the future. :(

    Also, I have set the demo release for October 5th, this time for real, unlike last year.

    EDIT: In related news, I gave the wiki page a slight update: Link

  3. Nice idea, just needs some rework but yeah, I know it's WIP.
    Also in Gameplay, did you plan to make it like Megamix with "SSD Levels" and "Sonic 2 Levels"?
    And what does the Save Stuff do? Is it to change to Save or No Save? If yes, I think it would be better if it comes after "Start".

    Thanks, and yes, it's still quite unfinished.

    No, gamplay mode is to change what moveset the character can use.

    SSD = Stomp Attack, Jumpdash, Homing attack, SCD spindash, Peelout, Sonic boost
    S3K = Instashield and spindash
    S2 = Spindash only
    S1 = no moves

    Save Stuff (yeah, the name needs to be changed) does exactly what you asked. I will be making a new screen, similar to the options on that loads up when you chose to start the game from the title, allowing you to turn options on and off before actually playing.

    Well, Sad news happens to every one...

    Today there was a thunderstorm that came so quick and hit so hard, that the hard drive that the current SSD source was on- fried.

    I have found an old source from October of last year, but this means that I have to remake the slash screens, title screen and options menu.

    Not sure if the demo will be out on October of this year anymore.

    And risk people finding it, Stealing your work and getting the credit? No thanks?

    Some good news at least, I saved all the BMPs of the splash screens/title screen and the music I recently added to another folder on the Main HDD, So I guess the progress isn't pushed TOO far off.

    Or even a gmail account. Throw it up in a password-protected RAR file and even if someone did get hold of it, they aren;t getting in if the password is strong enough.

    Sure there is a way. Cracking. =P Also Youtube videos does show how to do that.
    So I don't recommend that.

    Well, I talked with Irix... He has a source from February. So nothing was lost, really...except the other 485 GB or so (videos, video games, porn, the works) on the HDD that died.

    Going to bruteforce a RAR file with a 64 or more character password, are you? Good luck with that =P
