Is that more new(-ly shaded) Classic art?

 

At first I thought it was some kind of modification/combination of different arts. For example, the hand from this Summer of Sonic's art. But nope, as you say it's "new".

 

Given the time of year, this is likely a "Mr. Bones' Wild Ride" joke.

 

Sonic 2017 is new Sonic Riders game confirmed.

 

So this isn't a post from the official Sonic the Hedgehog page, but rather the Maruchan page. Why they picked the only flavor I can't stand from them is beyond me though. :v:

I've not installed it yet, but for some reason, the "Sonic 2 HD" Facebook Page has posted a download link to the original Sonic 2 HD Alpha game (with the exact same original trailer, too).

Plus it's asked to like a new S2HD page.


Is it just me, or is this very suspicious?

I found what you're referring to. I'm pretty sure the page you originally liked is an unofficial S2HD Facebook page (made by a fan or someone involved with the old version), and the post in question links back to the official Sonic 2 HD page, which is actually the one I've been following all this time (and that has continued to post updates, unlike yours).

I have no idea what the demo repost is about, though, that's just strange.
