Is it too late to point out that this render of Green Hill Zone is ripped straight out of Sonic Generations?

 

I didn't care that you linked the picture, and my main point was just the nonsense speculation that you pulled out of your ass. It's mindless guessing.
Crush 40 hints music for the anniversary and people somehow equated that to Sonic Adventure 3 or something of the like. We have here a simple little poster and you said it indicated a Sonic 1 remake. Really now?
As I said, when we get news we'll get news. This speculation is just silly. Generalizing speculation to say "maybe it's going to be Unleashed/Classic/Adventure style etc*" is fine, but what you said is just out of left field.

I think that goes without saying, which only adds to how nonspecific the image is. It's just a bunch of stock images put together on a (new?) emblem logo.

 

Well its the geometry from Generations but it is put together exactly how Original GHZ was since GHZ in Generations doesn't have the exact layout like that.

Lordy lord, he's actually up to something. April suddenly became a bit more interesting and a bit more terrifying.

 

I never pre-order games but dangit, if Ruby somehow swung getting Big's Big Fishing Adventure made, I will order it day 1.

 

Most people hate him, but there's a select group of fans and Ruby himself who absolutely love Big (un)ironically. Surely that's enough to justify another SatSR/SA2 style appearance for Big? That was genuinely fun content regardless of whether or not you give a crap about the character.

Also odd that Ruby's reaching out to JSJ, considering he hasn't voiced the guy since Heroes.

 

Kyle Hebert is Big's current voice actor, wish Ruby could come by and explain why he chose JSJ over Kyle.

 

JSJ is more iconic to Big's voice. Everyone since has just tried to imitate that voice.

It's like how they were trying to make Deem Bristow sound a bit like Long John Baldry with Eggman at first, except no one is ever going to touch Baldry's Robotnik.

 

I can get that but still, Kyle is on the role now and if this is anything official related shouldn't the current cast be picked over whomever voiced the character in the past?

 

I don't think this is officially sanctioned. Seems like Ruby's gone rogue and is doing his own fan thing to celebrate, even though he's a brand employee.

I've heard that. When did he say it? lol. I've read that he doesn't like Duke Nukem either, but I'm pretty sure that's false. Also didn't know Kyle Hebert voices Big now. I didn't even know he had appeared in a game where he spoke since SaSASR. It's a bit odd that they'd have VAs on their payroll for characters that may or may not appear often.

A lot of people are pulling out the tinfoil and guessing that Ruby's hinting at the return of the Adventure cast, but I doubt it. Would be cool though. I'd like to see them give it another go with better direction.
