Sonic Sessions - A new YouTube music series

I love it, it sounds straight out of Persona 5 — which makes sense, it's the same singer, Lyn!

I wonder why the other musicians are credited as "SAME" — Sonic Adventure Music Experience — rather than individually acknowledged. Kinda weird.

 

I think because Sonic Adventure Music Experience is the same equivalent as a 'band' (it's basically Crush 40, but without vocals, isn't it?).

By the way, arragenment itself was made by Dean DiMarzo & Jun Senoue.

 

I'm hoping they get the Persona 4 singer to do a song.

 

No wonder it sounded familiar, he has other Sonic remixes/covers that are great as well.

 

Lyn singing for main games would be great, tbh. Wondering if they will get Nate to sing again.

 

Escape from the City sounds great. Almost makes me wish that TJ Davis was singing it instead though.

 

It was just okay.

 

Sounds more like mellow pop than "funk", so I find it very 'meh'... But the original arrangement? Pardon me while I melt.

 

This sounds like something straight out of Persona.

This would be an interesting direction for Sonic music

 

This is definitely random and a load of fun. Dunno if I'll ever actually listen to it in full or put it in any playlists because it's... well its just the sort continue music loop. But I like that SEGA after going to this effort.

 

OK now I kinda waant this kind of music and Lyn for Sonic Frontiers soundtrack?

 

Man, I'd kill to hear a Spring Stadium (Mega Drive ver.) Funky / Jazzy arrange.

 

I love this cover so much and I never realized how much I needed it until now.

I'm also somewhat curious about the credits in the video. It says the track was composed by Sega and arranged by Senoue. Bit surprised they're being tight-lipped about the composers even after the announcement of a widescreen version of Sonic 3.

 

I loved this new track so much that I pre-ordered the album.
