1. Zebrahead is alright. Not the greatest, but they're not the worst thing to grace Sonic the Hedgehog musically.

Aw, hell.. Licensed music that was probably 99.9% not created to be anything to do with the game!?! ffs.. This is SONIC we're talking about!
What next, Needlemouse comes with a Status Quo soundtrack?

So long as they don't 'seven rings in hand' it throughout the game, I can live with hearing it a couple times when the rest of the soundtrack is classic Sega stuff.

Classic SEGA stuff is well and good, but remember how SST had all of ONE remixed track? That was poor. Sure they were recreated or whatever in surround sound, but the audio experience was fairly underwhelming. Personally, I'm anticipating a lot of remixed music and the MIDI creations on the DS version.

Auto Tune: How to make more money in the music industry with even less talent.
No surprise on Sega's part there.

Didn't someone already confirm tracks by Crush 40? I thought I read that somewhere, anyway.

Only thing I hate about this game right now is that god awful theme song, but everything else warrants a purchase. Looks like a fantastic racer.

S0L posted over at, you know, I'll just quote what he said:

QUOTE (S0L @ 06 December 2009 - 01:20 PM)

For those worried that Rich Jacques isn't behind the music in the game - rest assured he very much is. All the menus are Mr Jacques creations, as well as other music used throughout the game.

Bentley's tune is used for the end credits, and it's pretty damned awesome. You can blame us for the extravagent Guitar solo used in it - we forced it on him :)

Because cadence and melisma aren't musical traits. Get the fuck outta here, you obviously know jack shit about music.

It was a joke, calm the fuck down. Many artists in the genre today use auto tone to spam melisma to headache inducing degrees. Tell me if I'm wrong, as I'm not sure if I understand the definition of the word.

If I play a sports video game, does that make me an athlete?

The DLC issue appears to be settled, once and for all:

    http://www.tssznews.com/2009/12/13/xbox-si...ms-dlc-for-asr/

    It's in.

Also, the base 20 characters / 24 courses number appears set in stone, too. That would obviously increase as DLC is released.

Yes! I was REALLY hoping it would make it in.
Of course, I'm not sure if this truly confirms DLC characters/tracks, but I'd say there's a good chance.

    DO WANT

No, I'm not kidding. Just for Big, I'm going to BUY it.
And I don't understand what's the big hate on the theme song. I know it isn't an epic masterpiece, but still... :psyduck:

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This seriously does suck cock. I'd rather pay more and have them on the damn disc - you can bet all the extras will come out within the first couple of months having been made alongside the game. =(

Sega uploaded the box art, and it confirms Banjo Kazooie:

Looks like other consoles don't have exclusive characters:
